Wednesday Walk: Santa came to town

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus lane
He doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor

So fill your hearts with Christmas cheer
‘Cause Santa Claus comes tonight!


Last night, Santa visited all the major streets of our town. Although it was a cold evening, the turnout was great!!!

There's something magical about lights, especially during the holiday season. Whether it's twinkling Christmas lights, a cozy fireplace glow, or even just the stars on a clear night—they all have a way of making the world feel a bit more enchanting.

Lights truly do have a way of enchanting us! From the soft, warm glow of fairy lights draped over a mantel to the vibrant, animated displays in city centers, they create a sense of wonder and joy.

During the holidays, people often get creative with their light displays. People use twinkling string lights which are perfect for trees, windows, and outdoor spaces.

During the Christmas Tree light ceremony last Friday, they used projection lights. And these lights casted festive images or moving patterns onto walls or houses.

Icicle lights that are hanging from eaves mimic the look of real icicles. There are pathway lights... guiding the way with festive flair. These lights line driveways or walkways. Or LED candles, which are safe and beautiful, adding a cozy ambiance without the fire risk.

Some people even synchronize their lights to music, creating spectacular shows. Have you ever seen one of those? And do you have a favorite kind of holiday light display?

It was an exciting night!

It reminded me of days old with my Dad, and Mom, and my brothers JR, and Ronny... I was about 6 or 7 years old. I recall myself saying "Did you catch a glimpse of Santa... maybe we'll find some presents in the morning?"

The town we live in recently had a Santa parade. I made sure to avoid the downtown area that day! Way too much traffic!

There is !INDEED, something magical about lights at night, especially during Christmas! I want to go for a drive soon to look at lights in town. It's always so pretty!

I just saw this as I was browsing thru eBay............Vintage 1973 The Raven 1oz Silver Art Bar Hollywood Series Low #0042

The total Mintage was only 200 bars in 1973 ( I have the Book so that is how I know the Mintage Number)

They Were Horror Classics that were issued as a Complete Set containing 12 Bars to a Set.........
The Seller is in Washington State and does ship to Canada......

eBay Research Shows that NONE have been put up For Sale on eBay in the past Three Years.......

This one will be interesting it has 4 Days til completion of the Auction.........

I think it would be Cool if You Won it and became the New Owner.........

Christmas came to town with great enthusiasm. Santa Claus upgraded his sleigh, great. But I miss the reindeer, hope to see them next year.

ohh the fun of christmas lights and parades always such fun to see and brings out the inner child in all of us no matter how old we are

there are some houses here that do amazing displays, some even with music and a frequency you can tune in to hear the music

I have seen some when dropping off the grandkids in the evening, but havent got out to get photos of any of them yet

Northern California during the Christmas holidays is truly something special. There is a unique mix of festive cheer, often with a twist of sunshine with our NoCal weather!
In San Francisco, the stunning light displays at Union Square and the Embarcadero. Then in Napa Valley, the wine tastings and vineyard tours take on a festive vibe with beautifully decorated wineries. But Lake Tahoe is the best place to experience the winter wonderland with opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, and cozy cabin stays. But our town is equally as beautiful, @tattoodjay !
