On the Twelfth Day of Christmas ...
Finally, we are at the end of my list of Christmas wishes!
By the end of my first year of stacking, I had ten - 1/10 oz of gold, and since then, I have been stacking fractional gold and never stopped. On my second year, I bought my very first 1 ounce gold.
1/10 ounce gold is not the smallest gold that I own. Smaller than a 1/10 ounce is a 1/20 ounce!
And I have 1/20 ounces gold as well.
So in keeping with the price of an ounce of silver which is $35 - $50, how about this for the last in my Christmas wish list...
1/3 gram of Gold Bar!

I really can't imagine using teeny weeny fractional gold as a means of tender and commerce but we'll never know until we actually come to a case where a vendor may demand gold payment.

There are mining towns in Venezuela, one of them is called El CALLAO, there they only trade with gold, or its equivalent in fiat currency which is the Bolivar, but almost no commerce in that small town accepts Bolivar, all transactions are made with gold.

With the way the value of fiat Bolivar was decimated what else can you trust in as tender? As long as if everyone is patient and have accurate scales to measure small amounts of gold that would be enough to maintain a functioning economy.
This is an old 1965 silver 2 Bolivar. Do they transact in silver too?

I think that 1/3 grams of gold is better that 0.0032 of goldbacks, don't you think? But it is a matter of choice, !LOL And the change for your maple gram maybe a 4 grains, or 1 grain of gold!

I'm starting to like the concept of the micro gold, except for the premium. With gold prices as high as they are it's about the only way someone with limited income can realistically invest in gold. I loved gold when it was $700 ever so briefly and bought quite a bit back then. It's stored away too! Very cool micro gold!
