Gifts from Japan for my Wednesday Walk!

A sorority sister of mine went to Japan and visited several places there for two weeks. She came by to drop off gifts for moi!

I called in for Pizza delivery. We had pizzas for snacks while she told me about her many experiences on her trip. It was her first time to visit Japan!

What goodies did she bring me?

She gave me a mug...

A fan...

A hanky...

A tiny bag for my fan and hanky..

And the best part....

TWO KNIVES!!!

I love everything... the tiny bag, the fan, hanky, the mug, and the knives... everything!!!

Oh, she told me that there are no trash cans in Japan. They had to bring their trash home, in plastic bags.

There are some trash bins, especially in Tokyo, according to her. The train stations, vending machines, at parks, some convenience stores...

Public waste bins and garbage cans were largely removed from Japanese cities following the 1995 sarin gas attacks, forcing residents to adopt some of the world’s more disciplined waste disposal techniques.

If I were in Japan, one of the places I'd check out are the !LADY fashion outlets in the Harajuku district. I do have a list of places I'd like to visit.

It's rumor. Since the news of the Chinese buying up a whole gold mine in Nunavut right after Trudeau got re-elected I think they reverted back to their Chinese owned numbered companies buying up shares of resource companies in Canada.

I plan to use a hoodie for mine instead of a polo and it's been scares in a market close to me. I already sent money to a friend to help me buy the hoodie, customise it and send to me. Hopefully I should receive it soon.
