It is often said that gold is inversely correlated with the economic cycle, which means that when the economy is booming, gold is usually low, and when the economy is struggling, gold thrives.


To be a wise investor, you need to diversify your investments, regardless of how strong or weak the economy is.


Gold is a wise choice for a portfolio because of how it behaves and outperforms other options during difficult times.


Remember too that it isn't an "all or nothing" venture.

Yes, you can for emergencies! That's what so wonderful about gold, @jane1289. You can do these things with them because they are very liquid! You can wear your gold jewelry, and if you are in a bind or emergency, take it off and pawn them! Easy!!!

I have a property in a suburban city in the north, I used to be farmlands (grape yards) over decades ago. The property around it was sold off to a development. The mansion still stays, and the neighboring properties are subdivided into small dwellings.

I have been following gold and gold stocks since 2009 but for some reason, since I entered the crypto space in July of last year, my interest in it started to wane.

My way of investing in gold before is by buying shares in gold mining companies. If I have the fund, I will include pieces of jewelry of course.

Roaring with laughter, the official said, “Go ahead, Father. Next please!”
