2023 1 oz Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin (BU)
The Great Pipe Organ is depicted on the obverse of the 2023 1 oz Silver Philharmonic Coin. The Musikverein's organ is one of three similar instruments; the first two were put in place and utilized in the building in the 19th century when the hall was finished in the 1870s.
Coin Highlights:
16th year of issue in the Austrian Silver Philharmonic Series.
Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver in BU condition.
Issued a face value of 1.50 Euro by Austria.
Obverse depicts the Great Pipe Organ.
Reverse features musical instruments

A collection of musical instruments is featured on the reverse of 2023 Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coins. This design element has a cello, four violins, a bassoon, a harp, and a horn in homage to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin, which was introduced in 2006, proved an instant hit throughout Europe. The British Britannia was the only other significant silver bullion coin initiative at the time in Europe.
The Austrian Silver Philharmonic continues to have a significant presence in the global and North American bullion markets today. The obverse and reverse of the silver coins are always the same, using the 1989 designs for the gold coins by Thomas Pesendorfer.
