Molon Labe means “come and take it”. It is believed to have been spoken by the Spartan King Leonidas in answer to the Persian king demanded the surrender of their weapons.
Molon Labe has become a rallying cry for 2nd amendment supporters in America, and proponents of firearms ownership around the world. It is a reminder to those who would take away the right to bear arms that doing so is an inherently tricky proposition…an armed populace makes for a more cautious government after all.
It is very hard to collect all of the types. Intaglio Mint is always out of stack, as they are so popular. There are a total of 10 types. So far, I managed to have four types.

Yes, it was real, @stokjockey. I was there. Around 1970, or so, I was driving home, from college, in North Carolina. Gasoline prices, were down to $.25, from around, $.33(USD). Wow! I topped off my half-full tank, for this deal! Got home, an hour later, and it was 15.9 cents. No lie! And, 13 cents, of it, was TAX, $.03, real price, per gallon! Silver coins, at the time, were still circulating, but drying up. Then came the gasoline price war, and a shocking, unheard of, $.80 per gallon, that hit almost everyone's, pocketbook, hard. And Silver Coins vanished. But, still, it was and is, the “good-ole-days”, to a lot of us, oldsters.

Malta has a movie town and quite some famous ones are filmed there.
Like Gladiator, Troy and The Davinci Code.
When I lived there, they where shooting a few. One even in the street I lived at. But than the pandemic came and no shooting further… and I moved out. 😎

I've been looking online and I don't know what the difference is between cast silver and minted silver? The articles say minted is more expensive even when weighed the same...🤷🏻

Usually when it is smaller poured bars, made by independent casting houses.
I got my 3600 ozT order for the lowest premiums available, but they are made like the big boys at the CRIMEX warehouses. These are high volume bulk trading bars. So I stand to make the most profits when it's time to sell. I don't have your beautifully tuned eye for beauty, I just key in on the most shinies for my Dollar...

Minting is the process of pressing out a coin, round, or ingot and other than the heavy machinery, there are also several more steps in making the planchets (blank coins) which must be very precise in weight.
Private casters (pourers) must buy pure silver to melt, and the most obvious way to get good stock is to buy coins and rounds. So they are operating at a higher price point before they even start. Those industrial bulk casting firms, making the huge bars, are starting out with stock just like the planchet suppliers, and at reduced costs. I bought 3 dozen 100 ozT cast bars earlier this year, and the premium was very reasonable. $1.49 per ozT.
Premiums on cast art bars are sometimes 100% or more 😱😱
