20 oz Silver Bar OR 20 oz ASE Coins

I have to hurry this post because the MONSTER RAFFLE drawing is about to begin! I really hope I win. There is a good selection of silver to choose from. I seriously hope I win!!!

In his article the other day, @silverd510 pointed out that government issues have historically had the best premiums. I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I've always cherished the Silver Eagles! Go read it. It is a great post.

I only have one large bar, a 20 oz silver bar, which you will see pictured here. It was a gift to me from the special group of YouTube stackers.

I prefer stacking American Silver Eagles, US Constitutional Silver, 1 oz to 5 oz silver bars and fractional gold. Included in my stack are government-issued coins from different countries: the UK, Canada, Australia, South Korea, China, E8 countries... The rest I randomly collect.

Stacking American Silver Eagles has been a delight. I continue to add to my stack every month, be it one ASE coin or several.

I see myself stacking for always. And I said a couple of times that I would sell my silver, but I haven't done so yet. Most probably, I will sell them at a time when I need to. And most likely, it will be at a non-peak time.

But if you need to sell at a non peak time government issued bullion does sell better and for more money.

I remember all those names on that bar. That bar has a whole lot of great memories in our YouTube era. All the giveaways, videos, Live-streams those were some years.

Do you know that I go through that same exercise of checking my goals for the year every time I place my monthly order of silver and gold? It is so hard, @coinjoe!!! There is a lot of beautiful silver and gold out there. I sometimes can't resist the temptation. This year, I bought a colorized coin, which I regret. I knew I would regret it... I bought it anyway.

The silver eagles are definitely easier to stack @silversaver888, but the custom 20 ounce Silver bar is priceless my friend!🤗

But it's sure a nice 20 ounce bar that's for sure. Government made always will have a premium and I prefer adding them too over bars.
