Afternoon everyone…..

For those of you that have been following me for some time now. You should remember during the holiday season last year, I wanted to do my own personal stackers Christmas tree, and I did it.

Here’s a recap from last year….

This years tree will be put up tomorrow!

Why?

Because ever since my dad passed away four years ago now, just before Thanksgiving. My mom wants nothing to do with the holidays what so ever….

She told me straight out two years in a row that she does not want a Christmas tree up or any decorations.

So right before Christmas last year, I came up with the idea of buying a four foot tree and decorating it with nothing but silver Christmas rounds. I started my search immediately for Christmas silver rounds.

Because Christmas silver rounds are a niche item and fairly popular. Most people ask really stupidly high prices for them. So you have to pay attention to the auction sites, for reasonably priced rounds.

The company Air-Tite makes capsules that have a loop on them for a hook. They also have inserts for them in white, green, red, and blue. So I ordered ten of each right away.

Going into this holiday season I had already bought ten Christmas silver rounds. Most of them are vintage, that is my thing. This year I ordered a few of the current year offerings from several different mints, and won a few more auctions as well.

In total I currently have seventeen Christmas silver rounds in all. They are on my Ultimate Stackers Christmas Tree.

I could have easily just bought multiples of this years offerings. But I’m only allowing one of each design to be on the tree. So it’s going to be a work in progress for a little bit still.

All in all the tree looks really cool in my opinion. Yes, it needs more rounds. But it doesn’t look empty.

Now for the kicker…

I way assembling the tree in the living room to see how it would look. When my mom says “Oh, that looks nice. Why don’t you leave it down here.” 🤦🏻

So after all that I don’t want a Christmas tree up. To oh that looks nice. Make up your mind lady…..
