New arrivals….

Afternoon everyone….

The premiums on metals is ridiculous, and pretty much has been all year. But when you commit to buying a series, you kinda gotta roll with the punches.

I got this in the mail the other day. When I had gotten an e-mail about this release, every dealer had even more ridiculous premiums on them. I held out hoping that my favorite on line dealer would get them. A few days later BAM, they showed up on their website.

The dealer is Monument Metals. They are one of the few on line dealers that are still privately owned. Most of them are part of the A-Mark monopoly.

The series is the United Kingdom Tudor Queen’s Beast series. I don’t know how this series is going to play out now that she has passed away. It would be weird seeing Charles face on a series named the Queen’s Beasts.

This is the second release of the series. It’s the Yale of Beaufort. It’s by far the coin of the series I don’t really care for but it can’t be a completed series without it.

So here is a 1/4 ounce gold, and a two ounce silver Queen’s Beast Tudor Yale of Beaufort coon.

Nice Quarter oz.
A fellow I know on YouTube strongly suggests that the A-Mark monopoly has a strong interest in keeping and significant reason to why premiums are high.

I agree. That would be Losing Louie? Or now Louie’s Silver.

Monument Metals better than Apmex and Silver.com?

Way better. I only use Monument Metals, Bold Precious Metals, Bullion Exchange, Hero Bullion and Bullionstar. Those are the only ones still privately owned. All the rest are owned by A-Mark now and they are one of the main reasons premiums are so stupid. I used to love JM Bullion & Provident Metals but they are now part of the BIG BROTHER A-Mark. The only thing I buy from them are Provident exclusive series rounds, because I have no choice.
