My pride and joy Vegas coin show pick up…
Afternoon everyone….
I have shared many pictures from our Las Vegas community meet up. Today I will begin sharing what I personally picked up while in Las Vegas.
Prior to leaving for the meet up in Las Vegas, I already had a list of coins that I wanted to purchase. While it wasn’t going to be more than one or possibly two from that list. I already knew the coin and what a fair price was for the coin.
Since the gold price had risen over $100 in spot price in the last month. The only coin that I had on my list was removed, due to higher spot price and the premium on it. That coin was a one ounce gold Buffalo coin.
Don’t get me wrong, I did look and ask prices on them. But the lowest price gold Buffalo at the show was over $2,200. That’s not a good price.
So I walked the entire show dealer by dealer looking at my other two choices. One was a graded $10 gold Indian coin, the other a graded $10 Liberty gold coin.
Several dealers had fair prices on both coins. Now it was time to decide which one I was going to buy.
I ended up with this PCGS graded MS64 1926 $10 Gold Indian coin. While I already own two of these, my highest grade is an MS62, so I went for a nicer example.
These coins are highly collectible and command full retail, so it’s harder to find any deals. While I paid less than retail by $150-$200. I still paid quite a bit for this coin.
But in my opinion it was worth it.
What do you think…

It's very beautiful and a nice addition to your collection. Stars on the upper of the coins are really looking beautiful.
Awesome!

Lol, the eagle looks like a turkey 😂
Killer coin! I'm glad you were able to get it!
Thanks. So am I.
Bangin’ 😎👍
Thanks
Wow that's a beauty , I hope I can find one that's not going to have a crazy premium any grade will do 🤣
Wao all these coins looks so beautiful and amazing but eagle coin is my favorite in your holdings. Thanks for sharing.
Is it solid gold?
Yes
That's cool. Don't they normally put the weight and purity on them?
It’s an actual United State Mint coin. The date is below the Indian.
Doh!.. I'm thinking of rounds not coins..
🤦🏻
