Afternoon everyone ….

As I wrote in yesterday’s post. My shop build passed both final inspections. I had expected to pass both, so I had arranged my work schedule to be home on Wednesday to start moving some of my stuff into the new shop.

Well…..

The weather did not cooperate. It was only supposed to rain a little in the morning and clear up by 10am, per what the weather people said. Of course they were wrong, and it rained the entire day. And we are supposed to have rain every day until Sunday now because of hurricane Debbie which is coming up the east coast.

I did some shop work in the morning, but got to a stand still since all my clamps were in use on what I had glued up.

My mom asked to go to Costco to shop. I usually take her about once a month to stock up on stuff we use frequently.

Check out what I came across!!!

They have one ounce PAMP Suisse bars for sale.

I’ve seen ten ounce Royal Canadian Mint bars before. But this is the first time I’ve seen gold at Costco in my area.

In searching prices on these bars on a few on line bullion dealers. Costco is between $25-$50 cheaper than anyone that I saw. I didn’t go crazy looking, some dealers didn’t have them in stock either.

Thought I’d share my gold find. I asked if the price changes when spot price moves. The manager said yes it does.

Good old Costco. We have one that was just built about two miles down the road from our house. So dangerous!

Buy your silver and gold there….
If you have the Executive membership you get 2% back on it. And if you have their Costco Visa you get an additional 2% back. That would get you under spot price on both.

I do have an executive membership from when I bought my computer there, but not the visa card. I have never seen silver at ours, only gold which I can't afford! I'll keep an eye out though!

Worth a membership cost if you're buying one anyways. I never go to Costco, myself, but someone told me they bought a 10oz sikver bar there.

A full ounce is outside my budget at the moment, but I have seen a few here in the store not too far away. They seem to be pricing better than almost everyone though!

Mine too. But the price is great, if you get the 2% back on Executive membership plus 2% back on the Costco Visa it’s under spot.

I’m sure they will have them. If you have an executive membership you get 2% back and a Costco Visa is another 2% back. That would bring the gold bar under spot price Saver.
