PRESENTATION OF THE NAVAL BATTLE OF THE LAKE OF MARACAIBO [ENG-ESP]
Greetings, dear readers. Welcome to my blog.
Today I want to share with all of you my experience during the presentation of the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo, by the students of the educational institution where I currently serve as academic assistant director.
It is the first time that young people decide to perform an activity like this and definitely worth noting that they did excellently, so they deserve a big congratulations, as it was observed the effort and work done by each of them to make the approach of the content of each of the points that were touched there.
The activity was developed with the intonation of the National Anthem, so the young people made the formation and were properly organized to pay their respects, previously the organization of the space where they were going to expose and make the presentation of the activity, it should be noted that here was armed some disorder by the large open space of the stage, but that was controlled by with the help of other colleagues.
Then began the presentation by the youngest of the institution, first and second year students spoke a little of the naval history of Lake Maracaibo, but here this point was represented initially in the Wayuunaiki language and then in Spanish, this was one of the activities worthy of admiration, since the language was dignified according to the ethnicity that make up the institution and could cover even greater number of students.
Then the fifth year students decided to make a biography on the life and work of the illustrious Pedro Lucas Urribarri and thus make known his history and great experiences to each of those present, since despite the great participation he had in the naval battle, it had not been awarded so much importance to his intervention. At this point, the students' interventions were not only oratory, but they decided to design a play and dramatize the experience lived by Pedro Lucas Urribarri and his crew members in Lake Maracaibo.
This was something that undoubtedly attracted the attention of all the attendees, as some may get tired with long expositions, but others can let their imagination fly and immerse themselves in the narrative and performance of the play by the young people, which is worth mentioning the scenery and resources used for the presentation of the play.
The activity ended with the declamation of a poem about the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo and it was done in an effective and calm manner, it was observed among the attendees that the information had arrived efficiently and that they had acquired the basic competencies established in the different areas of knowledge such as Language and Literature, Foreign Language and Geography, History and Citizenship.
It is important to diversify the knowledge that is socialized to the students through this type of activities and that at the same time they are related to other areas of knowledge, since there are several factors that can be related as we handled in this activity where first of all the students' knowledge about the culture and history of relevant events that happened in our Venezuelan territory and with great heroes such as the illustrious Pedro Lucas Urribarri was broadened.

Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes mi experiencia durante la presentación de la Batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo, por parte de los estudiantes de la institución educativa donde me desempeño actualmente como sub-directora académica.
Es la primera vez que los jóvenes deciden realizar una actividad como esta y definitivamente cabe destacar que lo hicieron excelentemente, por lo que se merecen unas grandes felicitaciones, ya que se observó el esfuerzo y trabajo que realizaron cada uno de ellos para hacer el abordaje del contenido de cada de los puntos que se tocaron allí.
La actividad se inició con la entonación del Himno Nacional, por lo que los jóvenes hicieron la formación y se organizaron debidamente para rendir sus respetos, previamente la organización del espacio donde iban a exponer y realizar la presentación de la actividad, cabe destacar que aquí se armó algo de desorden por el gran espacio abierto del escenario, pero que fue controlado por con ayuda de otros colegas.
Luego inicio la presentación por parte de los más pequeños de la institución, estudiantes de primer y segundo año hablaron un poco de la historia naval del Lago de Maracaibo, pero aquí este punto lo representaron inicialmente en el idioma Wayuunaiki y luego en español, esto fue una de las actividades digna de admirar, ya que se dignifico el idioma según la etnia que conforman la institución y se pudo abarcar aun mayor número de estudiantes.
Luego los estudiantes de quinto año decidieron hacer una biografía sobre la vida y obra del ilustre Pedro Lucas Urribarri y así dar a conocer su historia y grandes experiencias a cada uno de los presentes, ya que a pesar de la gran participación que tuvo en la batalla naval, no se la había adjudicado tanta importancia a su intervención. En este punto las intervenciones por parte de los estudiantes no fueron solamente de oratoria, sino que ellos decidieron diseñar una obra y dramatizar la experiencia vivida por Pedro Lucas Urribarri y sus tripulantes en el Lago de Maracaibo.
Esto fue algo que sin duda alguna llamó mucho la atención de todos los asistentes, ya que algunos se pueden fatigar con largas exposiciones, pero otros pueden dejar volar su imaginación y sumergirse en la narrativa y actuación de la obra por parte de los jóvenes, la cual cabe destacar la escenografía y recursos empleados para la presentación de la obra.
La actividad finalizo con la declamación de un poema sobre la batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo y se hizo de manera efectiva y tranquila, se observó en medio de los asistentes que la información había llegado de manera eficiente y que ellos habían adquiridos las competencias básicas establecidas en las distintas áreas del saber cómo Lenguaje y Literatura, Lengua extranjera y Geografía, Historia y Ciudadanía.
Es importante que se diversifique el conocimiento que se le socializa a los estudiantes a través de este tipo de actividades y que al mismo tiempo se relacionen con otras áreas del saber, ya que existen varios factores que pueden ser relacionados como lo manejamos en esta actividad donde primeramente se les amplio los conocimientos de los estudiantes sobre la cultura e historia de hechos relevantes sucedidos en nuestro territorio venezolano y con grandes próceres como el ilustre Pedro Lucas Urribarri.

Ciertamente amiga @katnee, este tipo de actividades siempre resultan atractivas para los chicos y eso es lo que queremos lograr en ellos crear un impacto para que su aprendizaje sea mas efectivo.
No creas esa situación es algo generalizado por el mismo proceso que estamos viviendo, pero es justamente allí donde nosotros debemos poner en practica nuestra estrategia para eliminar esa apatía y recuperar a nuestros jovenes.
