Loading in the Boat

After a long time, I got to have a ride on this kind of boat again. Getting into the boat is quite difficult. The water of the river is waving that we need assistance from the operator. It scares me that it doesn't anything to balance on both sides except the bamboo mounted on the main side.

We are a total of four who are passengers in one boat. We will only cross the river, and the travel time is only around 5 minutes. There are other boats (some are motorized), and it's quite scary when they pass by, and the wave of the river goes up and down.

This was in Pantal River, an important body of water for the city of Dagupan as seafoods are transported here. There are other barangays too that the port is located here, but travel time takes 15-30 minutes in those places. This was a week ago on a Wednesday. We walked in the village of Pantal to visit our deaf students.
