Living in the Mountains
I've been to Baguio City, and other places where it's mountainous. I had vacations in such places, but I admit, there's a feeling in me that I prefer living in the plains. Of course, there are pros and cons when living either in the mountain or plain. But I felt like there's more risk in the mountains.
Earthquakes can be scary, which might cause rock slides. Extreme rains and typhoons can cause either land or rock slides. But people living in the mountains are brave people.
Meanwhile, as we're traveling in this area of Malico in San Nicolas, I haven't seen much houses. Despite a growing tourist destination, development is ongoing but controlled in order to avoid exploiting the nature, which has already happened (and still happening) in Baguio City.
