ATM series: Let's talk about Basic things of ATM machine.

I am a mechanical engineer and working on bank ATM machineries. To be honest, I love my job because the ATM machine is an automated and quite complex machine, but I have been able to master all the details and operations of this machine beautifully. This machine has mechanical, electrical, electronics, telecommunications, networking, software, all together in such a way that one cannot function without the other and this machine will not function properly.

I love my job because I get to work on many engineering topics at the same time. Yes, it is true that the work is complex, but I have mastered all its functions very well. I am happy because I work on many topics at once and am constantly gaining knowledge. Anyway, let's discuss some ideas about ATMs in a series. As I said before, this is a series of posts in which I will discuss various topics of ATM with you step by step. I hope you will like my posts very much.

There are two kinds of ATM machine's.

• ATM
• CRM

What is ATM?

It is Automated teller machine. This is a machine that will give you the money deposited in your bank account without any human intervention. Moreover, with the help of this machine, you can see the amount of money in your bank account and transaction statements. However, you can only withdraw money from ATMs, you cannot deposit money here.

What is CRM?

It is Cash Recycling Machine. This machine has both withdrawal and deposit facilities. You can withdraw money from here whenever you want and deposit money into your bank account as needed. However, when depositing money, you cannot deposit torn, very old, or unfit notes here. This machine will carefully check your money, then accept it and reserve it for another customer. Moreover, you cannot submit counterfeit or fake notes here if you want. If the machine finds a fake note, it will be returned to the customer, but in many places in the developed world, the note is placed in a separate purse bin and the bank authorities are immediately informed. The bank authorities immediately identified the man and tried to bring him to justice. However, in our country, fake notes are not kept in the machine but are returned to the customer.

ATM or CRM which one is Good?

I prefer CRM to ATM because you can both withdraw and deposit money at the same time. Moreover, the CRM has several additional functions that can satisfy a customer. So nowadays, banking authorities are showing more interest in acquiring CRM. CRM machines are increasing in our country and people are trying to adapt themselves to these machines.

Honestly, I like working on both ATM and CRM machines, but I like the functionality of CRM more. Moreover, CRM is able to support customers without being damaged for a long time.
