Isn't it amazing when people are relaxed in the scotching sun and run from the cold rain. I am not an exception when it comes to rain. Infact I dread when it rains while outside my home. I don't like getting beaten by the rain and also scared of lightning and thunder. Anytime the weather is cloudy and I am not at home, I rush home and abandon whatever I might be doing no matter the importance. When I am home while it rains, I feel relaxed and shielded from all my fears.
The reason for the fear isn't quite sure to me. Maybe I don't want to get sick with cold, I don't want to be injured from the effect the rain might bring especially if the rain is windy or coping with the dirt on the road while coming home from the rain.
As much as I don't like rain, I pray for it when harmattan is at its peak and everywhere is so Dusty and when it finally rains, I can't dance and welcome the rain while feeling it downpour on my skin. I wish I would overcome my fears and enjoy the rain like children do.
