THE METHOD OF SHOPPING I LOVE

There are basically two methods of shopping which are online and physical shopping;
Online shopping is the one that you get to order goods from an online vendor and it gets delivered to you maybe pay on delivery or before delivery.
Physical shopping is where you get to meet with the vendor physically, you see the goods, touch it and if possible test it before purchase.

Virtually everyone has either bought something online or purchase goods through physical vendor. So I believe we all have one one or two experience about it.
I'll be sharing my experience on the two methods;

Sometimes ago a friend of mine ordered a jacket from an online store for #15,000 but on getting the goods it was a different story, the jacket was too small even though it was the same size he ordered. He had no choice than to dash his younger brother as those that wanted to buy it from him was pricing at the range of #5,000 - #7,000.

Moreso, I use to sell shoes online and do the waybill to my customers wherever they might be within the country, the business was cool at some point but later I started having some customers that were giving me serious issues.

There was a customer that ordered a sneaker but didn't know her exact size, somehow funny 😃😃 so I had to tell her to confirm her size because returning goods could be very difficult or sometimes not possible.
After some days she got back to me that her size is size 42, so I sent the sneaker without hesitation.

On getting the sneaker and testing it, she discovered that it was not her size, despite sending the same size she requested. The sneaker was too big for her, that was where the problem started. Funny enough she started putting the blame on me for giving her oversized shoe, I was speechless because I don't even know how that was my fault. But just to make peace reign I told her I'll try to get another buyer and thank God we got another person after few weeks, problem solved. 🤔🤔
Imagine all this stress because it's online shopping, if it was a physical or offline thing, the case will be different as the buyer will get to test the sneaker before purchase.

Both online and physical method of shopping are good but has it's disadvantages oo. Nevertheless I prefer physical method of shopping.

Why do I prefer physical method of shopping to online shopping

• With physical shopping, you see the goods you want to buy and get to test it before purchase. Like the example I cited earlier, my customer that bought over sized shoe; if it were to be a physical shop, she would have test the sneakers if it's her size or not, instead of giving me unnecessary headache.

• There's a popular slang in Nigeria that goes thus; what I ordered versus what I got at times when you order goods online, you might get another thing entirely, that's another reason why I don't like ordering things online, I prefer seeing the goods I want to buy physically before paying.

• To return goods is very much easier with physical shopping, probably if there's a fault in the goods bought, one could easily return the goods with little or no stress but if it's an online store it might be very difficult to return or not even possible at all.

• Some online vendors re-sell goods that they themselves bought from a company or physical store, which makes the goods costly meanwhile if you visit the physical store yourself it might be cheaper.

Just as I've said earlier I like both methods of shopping but I prefer physical shopping.
