My first throwback Thursday - My brothers wedding is two years already
Hello everyone, it's another week of throw back Thursday and It's my first time participating, I must say I'm glad to be here.
For my first entry, I'll be sharing with you guys the throwback of my brothers wedding two years ago. We did the wedding April 2022, the engagement was done on Thursday in the bride's state which is Kogi state Nigeria, and we travel back to Ilorin on Friday to prepare for the church wedding on Saturday. I was more concerned because I was my brothers wedding and then I was the best man, so if I'm not there for him, who will.
The journey down to Kogi state was a little bit stressful as our car broke down on the way and then I don't know it's along distance journey.
Though when we got there, I enjoyed every bit of time we spent, as we were welcomed and entertained like Kings and Queens, they serve us pounded yam with egusi soup, one of my favorite meal, you need to see how I did justice to it hehehe.
The day of the wedding was very awesome, we woke up very early in the morning to take pictures, so we won't be late to church and then taking the picture after church will be very stressful.
On getting to church, we did the needful, they were joined together in holy matrimony and afterwards everyone wine and dine and then we had another round of pictures again.
The both of them are happily married, enjoying their marriage and I'm so happy for them.

We are very happy to receive you, especially for starting with this great memory, weddings will always be very special and will have an important part in our community. No wonder there were some inconveniences at the beginning of the day, there is always some anecdote like this to tell with the passage of time, but it was worth it, because thanks to do everything early managed to get these photos so cool for the memory.
