Finding The Review Center

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well!

Before the month of August ended, I received messages and calls from my cousin in Australia. She's asking favor from me to find the Review center where her niece will review. She also asked favor from me to find a place where her niece and guardians gonna stay for a week or two while her niece is having review classes.

While I am having conversation with my cousin, I told her that I will be available on a holiday. She's so happy that I will have time to check the location and find a place to stay for her niece.

When holiday comes, it was Monday 29 August, I don't have work because Philippines is celebrating National Heroes Day. So, I have time to travel to the address that my cousin sent to me.

I leave my boarding house in the afternoon. I ride a jeep to Ayala and paid ₱17.00 or $0.29 for my fare. I am lucky that I am able to occupy the front seat of the jeep.

From Ayala, I ride another jeep going to colon but will passby capitol site area. I paid ₱11.00 or $0.19 for my fare. I also occupied the front seat of the jeep.

Lucky enough, the road is not so traffic. In just few minutes, I arrived at the address that was instructed to me by my cousin. As I told the jeepney driver to drop me at the Red Cross, he then dropped me fronting the Red Cross.

I told the jeepney driver to just drop me at the Red Cross because it is very known compare to the review center that I am going to check. And the good thing is the Red Cross is just adjacent to the building I am looking for. It's so easy to find where the review center located. 😀

Luckily when I arrived at the site is not anymore raining. It is obvious that it rains before I came at the capitol area.

It is the JRDC Building that I am looking. It is easy to find besides Red Cross. The big signage of the building helps me to find it easily.

The Review Center is just inside the building with the big signage as well. When I go inside, the office is close because it's holiday.

After checking the area,I look for a place my niece and her guardian could stay that is just near the review center. The only nearest place I saw was the hotel at the back street. I wasn't able to take a picture because my cousin and I talks about the direction of the review center and been talking about the place to rent. At first, I look for a boarding house, then an apartment and landed at the hotel. After few minutes and talking and decision making, my cousin decided to book a hotel I visited and checked.

So that's it! My niece and her guardian gonna stay in hotel. They will arrived Cebu the next day of that day when I look for the place.

After talking to my cousin and after the decision making, we ended our video call. I go to Sto. Niño Church after. I lighted candles and offer prayers.

After my moments at Sto. Niño Church, I go back home and ride a bus.

That's how my day went when I am finding the review center. Then, I become an instant tour guide when they arrived Cebu.
