[PT-BR/EN] My dream of living in the city of Gramado

Essa postagem é a minha entrada para o Desafio Semanal de Engajamento HiveBR e falarei sobre o seguinte tópico:

A maioria da nossa comunidade vive ou viveu em uma cidade específica no Brasil, mas alguns ainda vivem em algum lugar no exterior, como eu. Existe uma cidade brasileira específica em que você sonha morar? Qual? Quais são as vantagens e desvantagens de morar nesta cidade em comparação com as cidades onde você morou anteriormente?

Se existe um lugar do Brasil que gostaria de morar, com certeza seria no rio grande do sul, por conta de sua beleza exuberante e principalmente por conta do seu clima frio, sendo o que mais me chama atenção. Amo a minha cidade, Goiânia no centro-oeste do Brasil, mas, com certeza se pudesse mudar para um lugar da minha escolha, irei para o Sul, aproveitar tudo o que ele tem a oferecer.

Há algum tempo sempre fico de olho na cidade de Gramado, principalmente por seu clima, claro que existem inúmeras outras belezas, mas se tem uma que me chama a atenção, é a sua temperatura rotineira voltada para o frio. Os meses em que mais faz frio é entre maio e agosto, onde as temperaturas podem ficar abaixo de 10 °C! Isso é uma loucura? Com certeza, mas bem diferente de tudo o que já presenciei aqui em Goiânia, com o clima mais ameno, temos uma temporada mais quente e outra mais fria, mas nada que se compara com 10 °C.

Outro ponto é que nesse período costuma ser registradas até mesmo temperaturas negativas e com isso, a possibilidade de geadas e neve é sempre uma espera real de que pode realmente acontecer! Para mim, que nunca viu a neve antes, esse é o charme que gostaria de presenciar pelo menos uma vez em minha vida, antes de partir deste lindo planeta azul, gostaria de ver, tocar e sentir temperaturas tão baixas e obviamente a branca neve e todas as suas propriedades. Isso seria uma experiência única para mim!

Além dessa questão do frio e temperatura, a região Sul é conhecida por seus costumes diferentes e as inúmeras atividades que podem ser feitas, como, por exemplo, experimentar vinhos, visitar as casas coloniais e até mesmo passear de trem, outra coisa que nunca fiz na vida! Pelo que já pesquisei e entendi, existe a possibilidade de pegar um trem que inicia na estação Bento Gonçalves e passa por Garibaldi e finaliza chegando na cidade de Carlos Barbosa.

Isso é apenas uma parte do que sei sobre a cidade de Gramado, se não me engano temos membros na comunidade que moram na cidade ou perto dela, então eles são prova viva do que existe do bom e bonito nela. Visitar a cidade no inverno é como estar em uma cidade europeia, então as coisas são bem diferentes e fascinantes para alguém que vai de fora como eu, morar nesta linda cidade.

O clima da cidade (e não do frio que falo agora) é diferente, a cultura é diferente, voltada para tradições realmente europeias, com uma mistura dada por conta de imigrantes alemães, italianos e português, onde é possível sentir essa atmosfera, efetivada na arquitetura, gastronomia e nos costumes de seu povo, um prato cheio de delícias e especiarias e muito charme para compartilhar com todos que ali escolhem ficar.

Acredito que as vantagens em relação à Goiânia sejam o clima frio, que sempre me atrai, as culturas diferentes e costumes diferentes e arrisco dizer que uma qualidade de vida melhor. As desvantagens podem ser mais físicas, afinal, gostar do frio é uma coisa, ter o corpo acostumado com isso é outra, além de que o costume culinário diferente, pode fazer com que não me adapte facilmente no começo, mas, com o passar do tempo, tenho certeza que Gramado iria conquistar não apenas meu corpo ou coração e sim a minha alma com tamanha beleza e atmosfera.

The majority of our community lives or has lived in a specific city in Brazil, but some still live somewhere abroad, like me. Is there a specific Brazilian city you dream of living in? Which? What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in this city compared to cities where you have previously lived?

If there is a place in Brazil that I would like to live, it would definitely be in Rio Grande do Sul, because of its exuberant beauty and mainly because of its cold climate, which is what catches my attention the most. I love my city, Goiânia in the center-west of Brazil, but, for sure, if I could move to a place of my choice, I would go to the South, enjoy everything it has to offer.

For some time now I've always kept an eye on the city of Gramado, mainly because of its climate, of course there are countless other beauties, but if there's one that catches my attention, it's its routine cold temperature. The coldest months are between May and August, where temperatures can drop below 10°C! This is crazy? For sure, but very different from anything I've ever seen here in Goiânia, with the milder climate, we have a hotter season and a colder season, but nothing that compares to 10°C.

Another point is that during this period even negative temperatures are usually recorded and with this, the possibility of frost and snow is always a real expectation that it can actually happen! For me, who has never seen snow before, this is the charm that I would like to witness at least once in my life, before leaving this beautiful blue planet, I would like to see, touch and feel such low temperatures and obviously the white snow and all its properties. That would be a unique experience for me!

In addition to this issue of cold and temperature, the South region is known for its different customs and the countless activities that can be done, such as, for example, trying wines, visiting colonial houses and even taking a train ride, something else I have never done in life! From what I have already researched and understood, there is the possibility of taking a train that starts at Bento Gonçalves station and passes through Garibaldi and ends up arriving in the city of Carlos Barbosa.

This is just part of what I know about the city of Gramado, if I'm not mistaken we have members of the community who live in the city or close to it, so they are living proof of what is good and beautiful in it. Visiting the city in winter is like being in a European city, so things are very different and fascinating for someone like me from abroad to live in this beautiful city.

The city's climate (and not the cold one I'm talking about now) is different, the culture is different, focused on truly European traditions, with a mix given by German, Italian and Portuguese immigrants, where it is possible to feel this atmosphere, implemented in architecture, gastronomy and the customs of its people, a dish full of delicacies and spices and lots of charm to share with everyone who chooses to stay there.

I believe that the advantages compared to Goiânia are the cold climate, which always attracts me, the different cultures and different customs and I dare say a better quality of life. The disadvantages may be more physical, after all, liking the cold is one thing, having your body used to it is another, in addition to the different culinary customs, which may mean that I don't adapt easily at first, but, as time goes by, time, I'm sure that Gramado would conquer not just my body or heart but my soul with such beauty and atmosphere.
