Nowadays we can say that many people's dream is to become a kind of digital idol, in which they generally do everything to go viral and thus gain fame, followers and be able to somehow influence crowds of fans who follow them and strangely the venerate. Yes, I'm talking about being a social media influencer or, in short, a digital influencer.

I'm highly reluctant to call this a profession, I can't say why, but I don't see these influencers who make a living from making videos or posting on social networks like Facebook or Instagram as a job, maybe it is, but I don't consider it a classic profession then. Not to belittle it, I know that many of them strive to really deliver some worthy content, something that really disappears in the lives of people and their followers.

So, making a little comparison, what are we here at Hive? I also don't really call it a profession here, I usually say that it has become a hobby in which we can monetize the content we create much more easily. So do I have a job at Hive? I'm a content creator at Hive, this is something that's on my web2 profiles, but, honestly, I don't know how to defend how being an influencer truly becomes a profession, maybe I need to study more on this subject.

This is a great point to discuss in the comments section, but my strong point in this post is sharing what I think about digital influencers and what I would like to do, if I chose to make a living from it, but on web2. So, let's imagine that Hive didn't cross my life, so I made Instagram, Facebook or Twitch my home for content creation.

The Danger of Influencers

To quickly touch on this subject, I'm really afraid of influencers on any platform, because the few I've seen or noticed my children seeing, I honestly thought their content was rubbish. These are such superficial things, so many things focused only on having and power, money to buy, money to live, beautiful people are incredible, ugly or fat people are horrible, among other unnecessary examples.

I believe that there are, yes, influencers who add up to something, who share ethical and respectful thoughts about people, who pass on tips that can really make a difference in our lives, it turns out that my experience is extremely negative at this point, so much so that I generally look at the content my children see on their cell phones, just to see what they are and how useful they are, and well, they are really influential, but on the negative side of things. I just haven't found an influencer that is actually fun and cool to follow.

Even gaming influencers, those who should only focus on games, seem to take on some strange ideas, making political apologies at times that I don't understand why, after all, their main focus is games and not politics or gender issues? Or defend a corrupt government, which mistreats its population with exorbitant taxes and everything else. For these people, who can buy games from R$250 upwards, it's fine, but for a family man like me, how can I defend a government that does everything to increase the price of things like that?

So, my opinion is this, it is dangerous for us to become influencer zombies, after all, they will influence the side that pays the most and that is really a danger. I believe that we must have formed opinions and pay attention to what we really want to convey, if an influencer tries to put something in your head that you know is wrong, you must stop consuming that content, your dignity, ethics and character cannot be influenced by These people.

My Way of Influencing

Now, talking about what I would like to influence in web2, if I were to make a living from this and imagining that I could consolidate myself, it would definitely be something about games, just like I tried to do here at Hive, but due to the lack of time, because I have my job As a salaryman, it's impossible to create cool content about games, as I'd like to do and I'm convinced that if I'm going to do something poorly, it's better not to do it. So, if my decision one day was to drop everything and “make a living from it” I would focus on posting games again, being my great passion.

My platform would be Twitch, I would share games like Hearthstone, PUBG, Call of Duty, Dota 2 and some mobile games that I liked, the main one would be Clash Royale, but I know there would be other cool ones too. If one day Hive came across my path, imagining this alternative timeline, I believe I would change my focus, aiming to earn more money, as an influencer on web2 and discovering the incredible things we have in the web3 ecosystem.

My way of being, I believe it would be the way I am here today, I have my bad moments, I am human, but I would certainly always try to send a positive message, as I already do here with many of my texts. Some friends I made here at Hive, where I had the honor of having their WhatsApp number or becoming a mutual follower on Instagram, can see that I am what I am here, that my way is to try to stay calm, talk, solve problems and mistakes made. It would be this message of positivity, at least until he started losing at the game, at which point I think he would get really angry. 😂

Finally

This is a little of what I think, I believe that many concepts must be changed, now that I'm on the other side (the influencer's), because living it here at Hive, I see how complicated some things are, how you should have greater affection with what you will share with your followers, always aiming to convey a positive message about things, because the world is already too difficult, so influencing with negative things I think is not the vibe.

With this, my plans are to become an influential person on the Hive social network, the dream that I often had and killed in the web2 era, I now see in Hive finally my big chance to become a digital influencer, whether with games or texts that aim to make people happy or teach some of what I've been through and what I think about life, to be able to add something to those who read and like what I post.

Na atualidade podemos dizer que o sonho de muitas pessoas é se tornar uma espécie de ídolo digital, no qual geralmente eles fazem de tudo para viralizar e com isso ganhar fama, seguidores e poderem de alguma forma influenciar multidões de fãs que os seguem e estranhamente os veneram. Sim, estou falando em ser influenciador de mídias sociais ou, em resumo, influenciador digital.

Sou altamente relutante em chamar isso de profissão, não sei dizer porque, mas não vejo esses influenciadores que vivem de fazer vídeos ou postagens em redes sociais como Facebook ou Instagram como um emprego, talvez até seja, mas não considero como uma profissão clássica então. Não desmerecendo, sei que muitos deles se esforçam para realmente entregar algum conteúdo digno, algo que some mesmo na vida das pessoas e seus seguidores.

Então, fazendo uma pequena comparação, o que somos aqui na Hive? Eu também não chamo bem aqui de uma profissão, eu costumo dizer que se tornou um passatempo no qual podemos monetizar de forma bem mais fácil o conteúdo que criamos. Então, eu tenho um emprego na Hive? Sou criador de conteúdo na Hive, isso é coisa que está nos meus perfis da web2, mas, sinceramente, não sei defender como ser um influenciador se torna verdadeiramente uma profissão, talvez precise estudar mais sobre esse assunto.

Este é um ótimo ponto para discutimos na seção de comentários, mas, o meu ponto forte nessa postagem é compartilhar o que penso sobre influenciadores digitais e o que gostaria de fazer, caso escolhesse viver disso, mas na web2. Então, imaginemos que a Hive não cruzou a minha vida, então tornei o Instagram, Facebook ou Twitch a minha casa para a criação de conteúdo.

O Perigo de Influenciadores

De forma bem rápida para tocar neste assunto, realmente tenho muito medo dos influenciadores de qualquer plataforma, pois os poucos que já vi ou já notei meus filhos vendo, sinceramente achei uma bosta o conteúdo dessas pessoas. São coisas tão superficiais, tantas coisas voltadas apenas para ter e poder, dinheiro para comprar, dinheiro para viver, pessoas bonitas são incríveis, pessoas feias ou gordas são horríveis, dentre outros exemplos desnecessários.

Acredito que existam, sim, influenciadores que somam em alguma coisa, que compartilham de pensamentos éticos e respeitosos sobre as pessoas, que passam dicas que podem realmente fazer a diferença na nossa vida, acontece que a minha experiência é extremamente negativa neste ponto, tanto que os conteúdos que meus filhos veem no celular, geralmente fico em cima, para justamente ver o que são e se prestam e bem, eles são realmente influenciadores, mas para o lado negativo das coisas. Simplesmente não encontrei um influenciador que seja realmente divertido e legal de seguir.

Até mesmo os influenciadores de jogos, aqueles que deveriam apenas focar em jogos, parece tomar de umas ideias estranhas, fazendo apologias politicas em momentos que não entendo o porquê, afinal, o seu carro chefe é jogos e não politica ou questões de gênero? Ou defender um governo corrupto, que maltrata a sua população com impostos exorbitantes e tudo mais. Para essa galera, que consegue comprar jogos de R$ 250 reais para cima, está tranquilo, mas para um pai de família como eu, como posso defender um governo que faz de tudo para aumentar o preço das coisas assim?

Então, a minha opinião é essa, é perigoso nos tornamos zumbis de influenciadores, afinal, vão influenciar o lado que pagar mais e isso é realmente um perigo. Acredito que devemos ter opiniões formadas e nos atentar ao que queremos realmente passar, se um influenciador tenta colocar na sua cabeça algo que você sabe que é errado, você deve parar de consumir esse conteúdo, sua dignidade, ética e caráter não pode ser influenciada por estas pessoas.

A Minha Forma de Influenciar

Agora, falando sobre o que gostaria de influenciar na web2, se fosse para viver disso e imaginando que conseguiria me consolidar, com certeza seria algo sobre jogos, assim como tentei fazer aqui na Hive, mas pela falta de tempo, por ter o meu emprego assalariado, fica inviável criar um conteúdo bacana sobre jogos, como eu gostaria de fazer e eu tenho comigo que se for para fazer algo mal feito, melhor não fazer. Então, se a minha decisão um dia fosse largar tudo e “viver disso” eu voltaria a focar em postagens de jogos, sendo a minha grande paixão.

A minha plataforma seria a Twitch, iria compartilhar jogos como Hearthstone, PUBG, Call of Duty, Dota 2 e alguns jogos mobiles que gostei, o principal seria Clash Royale, mas sei que teria outros legais também. Se um dia a Hive passasse pelo meu caminho, imaginando essa linha do tempo alternativa, acredito que eu mudaria o meu foco, visando conquistar mais dinheiro, como influenciador na web2 e descobrindo as incríveis coisas que temos no ecossistema da web3.

O meu jeito de ser, acredito que seria da forma como sou aqui hoje, tenho meus momentos ruins, sou humano, mas, com certeza tentaria sempre passar uma mensagem positiva, como já faço aqui com muitos dos meus textos. Alguns amigos que fiz aqui na Hive, na qual tive a honra de ter o número de WhatsApp ou me tornar seguidor mutuo no Instagram, podem constatar que sou o que sou aqui, que o meu jeito é tentar ficar tranquilo, conversar, resolver os problemas e erros cometidos. Seria essa mensagem de positividade, pelo menos até começar a perder no jogo, que aí acho que ficaria realmente irritado. 😂

Por Fim

Isso é um pouco do que penso, acredito que muitos conceitos devem ser mudados, agora que estou do outro lado (o do influenciador), pois vivendo isso aqui na Hive, vejo como é complicado algumas coisas, como você deve ter um carinho maior com o que compartilhará com seus seguidores, visando sempre passar uma mensagem positiva das coisas, até porque, o mundo já está difícil demais, então, influenciar com coisas negativos acho que não é a vibe.

Com isso, meus planos são de me tornar uma pessoa influente na rede social Hive, o sonho que muitas vezes tive e matei na era da web2, vejo agora na Hive finalmente a minha grande chance de me tornar um influenciador digital, seja com jogos ou textos que pretendem alegrar as pessoas ou passar algum ensinamento do que passei e penso sobre a vida, para poder somar em algo para aqueles que lê e gostam do que post.
