Millipedes (Millipedes) are a type of arthropods or polypods, whose main characteristic is having many legs in their body. Millipedes generally prefer damp and dark environments, such as dead leaves, soil, under rocks or under tree trunks. Their body is long and cylindrical and each segment has two pairs of legs.

Some Features of Millipedes:

Body structure: The body of millipedes can consist of 20 to 400 segments, and each segment has two pairs of legs.

Diet: They mainly feed on decaying plants, such as dead leaves, small plant parts etc.

Behaviour: When threatened, they usually curl up to protect themselves.

Reproduction: Millipedes lay eggs and their eggs are usually underground.

Millipedes are generally harmless and do not harm humans. But many people are afraid of them because of their many legs.
