Inside is a single shiny, brown seed that is inedible. Sweet and fragrant, often compared to a mix of rose water and grapes. Lychee thrives in tropical and subtropical climates.

It can be dried (known as "lychee nuts"), canned, or juiced. Lychee is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, and other nutrients like potassium and copper. It’s low in calories and high in hydration. Lychee has been cultivated in China for over 2,000 years and was once considered an imperial delicacy.
