Human love for domesticated goats is very old and deep. Goats are raised by many for their milk, meat, hides, and wool, but also develop a special relationship with them. Goats are very social, sweet-tempered animals, so they easily love the company of people. Their nature, curiosity, and friendly demeanor win over many.

Goats also bring people closer to nature, as we can be close to nature while tending them. The goat herders take care of the health, food, and cleanliness of the goats and thus a cordial relationship develops.

Goats usually eat the following foods:

Grass: The main diet of goats is grass, especially soft, green grass. They prefer to eat wild and varied grasses.

Leaves and shrubs: Goats love to eat a variety of leaves, shrubs and small tree branches. Leaves of bamboo, neem, jackfruit, chimul trees are useful for them.

Vegetables and fruits: Goats can eat some vegetables and fruits, such as carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, cabbage, bananas, papayas, etc.

Grass powder or dry food: Feed dry grass powder, hay, or various feed materials such as grain husks.

Feed (Concentrate Feed): Grains, corn, wheat, rice bran etc. are sometimes fed to meet the nutritional needs of goats.

Goats can be kept healthy by providing nutritious food, but specific food and drink should be provided for them.

Stay calm and patient: It is important to stay calm and patient when dealing with goats. Try to understand their behavior and avoid any sudden scare.

Providing opportunities to play: Goats need to be given enough space to walk and play. It keeps them happy and healthy.
