WAYS IN WHICH ARSENAL CAN MANAGE GABRIEL JESUS'S INJURY

(Edited)

Gabriel Jesus was injured during a group stage encounter against Cameroon in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. His injury appeared to be minor at first, until he was ruled out of the tournament and eventually returned to his football club, (Arsenal).Gabriel Jesus will now start his rehabilitation program, the club announced in an official statement after it was determined that surgery would be necessary to treat his condition. The entire team at the club is behind Gabby and is committed to getting him back on the field as soon as possible. This phrase is ambiguous because the extent of his injury is unknown; some experts predict that he will miss two months, three months, or the entire season.Since he has been one of the most crucial players for Arsenal thus far this season, making 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring 5 goals, assisting 7 times, and also being involved in a lot of arsenal goals indirectly, his absence could affect the team's momentum and could make them lose the chance of winning the league.

I will list a few substitute actions arsenal could do in Gabriel Jesus' absence below.

SIGN A NEW STRIKER

All eyes now on Nketiah to cover up for Gabriel Jesus injury, his stats has been a good one before and after Gabriel Jesus injury when he Starts a match but he does not seems to have a back up just in case he also have injury as well, Martinelli can also play as a striker but he has now been more of a winger than a striker. For competition and back up ,Arsenal will need a new striker.

FOLARIN BALOGUN LOAN DEAL CANCELLED

Young and talented Arsenal player Balogun saw little action because the squad had so many other options for strikers. He had been loaned out to numerous teams in order to increase his playing time, and each time he did so, he quickly established himself as a star. His most recent loan was to Reims, where he has made 16 appearances while contributing an assist and 10 goals. Balogun should remain at Reims through the end of the current campaign, though the teams may agree to shorten his stay if necessary. He can act as Arsenal's primary striker this season or as a backup if his loan agreement is cut short.

AGREE TO A STRIKER-ON-LOAN

It will be acceptable for Arsenal to sign a player on loan in order to avoid wasting money on a big transfer fee and the player's salaries because Gabriel Jesus is a very excellent player and might eventually keep his status as the first choice striker when he is fit. Whether they are now with Arsenal or not, they already have a number of talented strikers, thus it might not be necessary to add another one on a long-term basis. Another choice is to loan in a striker.

RISKING IT ALL ON NKETIAH

Since Nketiah is the only senior natural striker available at Arsenal right now, the club runs the risk of losing everything if it doesn't buy a backup or rival. Nketiah could perform well and handle Gabriel Jesus' absence if he stays fit for the rest of the season. He has already scored goals against West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion while Gabriel Jesus has been out injured.

I feel that the Gunners should take the calculated risk of Balogun and Nketiah. These guys are the future of Arsenal right? They could then bring in an experienced striker as a mentor and cover
