The much awaited letter ...

A letter arrived yesterday was written 5 years ago...

We were just pen friends in the beginning, communicating with letters , rather than the present gadgets. The joy of writing a letter and reading it till the end, cam never be explained in words. And this was the condition between we two women , hailing from two different corners of the world, with varied culture and diversities.

A postcard from Vietnam

I got to know about this friend through a Health magazine, working as a consultant Counselor, providing answers for the needy. At first our conversation was limited to only health issues. Gradually, we knew we had too many similar interests related to food, travel, gardening etc.

Days passed by and our friendship kept growing. She gathered information related to our culture. Suddenly, one day I received a letter stating her interest to visit our country, India. Though shocking, I made all the arrangements to welcome her.

She promised to brief me about her arrival from Vietnam in her next letter. I too, was happy and over excited to receive her and started making all the arrangements to welcome her, from my end.. I was eagerly waiting for the detailed letter, as promised by her.

But the wait on... one day, two day, three day and so on....And finally, now after 5 years, I received the much awaited letter briefing her visit details. So wherr is she ? Did she ever visit my country ? What happened?
..All these remains as a clueless question even today.
