NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK 10: RECOUNTING MY SET GOALS.

Good day and welcome to my blog

My crave for knowledge and means of earning made me spoke to a friend who told me about hive. I was introduced to hive and after my first two weeks I felt lost. Everything looked complex and difficult. I wasn't getting the right audience and my posts were just there without likes and comments. It was at the verge of giving up I got introduced to the newbie initiative which really help me to know what hive is all about and how one can thrive on hive.
To the glory of God the initiative started and ended well and this is my last task. Without much ado, lets dive together into the task.

1. Go back to your task 1, check the goals you made and recount those goals, see how you have performed. Did you smash those goals? Tell us why and how.

In my first task, I was having approximately 27HP and then my goal was to get a minimum of 80HP in the next three months and presently I have approximately 117HP. I was able to achieve this by following what we were taught. I discovered that I have been using wrong tags. All thanks to @starstrings01, @nkemakonam89, @vickoly, @justfavour , other team leaders and other facilitators that taught us the importance of tags and the correct tags to use to attract curators.
They emphasize the importance of quality contents and things to avoid. I actually discovered the community I fit into more and I have been trying to be more engaged in the community.
My second goal was to grow my followers from 31 to 100 by the end of the three months. Presently I have just 42, I couldn't meet up with my goal because I have not been active in other communities and I was away for a while.

How was your experience in the newbies initiative, what do you have to say about it?

The initiative has really helped me and fan my goal on hive. I met new friends like that we connected on other platforms apart from hive. I can boldly see through the initiative I have gone international.
Through the initiative, I have a more robust vision for myself on hive. It is an initiative that one should always participate at every opportunity, I learned, relearned and unlearned. The initiative exposed me to ways of accumulating wealth and at the same time making tremendous impacts.

If you were to contribute one thing to make the newbies initiative perform better, what do you think you can do?

My contribution will be to ensure that participants gets regular reminder and ensure that partners are responsible for one another's attendance in meetings.
Likewise, I will ensure that we don't exceed the stipulated time.
I will encourage teams to hold meetings after the general meeting so that group members can learn from each other and group leaders can do a kind of recap of the discussion at the general meetings.
