Valletta streets in Malta are beautiful
Look at all the side streets when in Valletta
This is just a small selection of the many side streets I have photographed when walking around in Valletta. There are more photos and also, there were more photos to be taken, I had to force myself to stop. Because anywhere I looked, there was another beautiful street.
I hope you are happy with this selection I have made for you today.
Just a quick warning as well. If you are going to visit Valletta in Malta, get ready for a good "exercise session", It is an awesome place to discover by foot but know that there are a lot of hills, your legs better be ready for the leg day. Because after you leave Valletta, if you are not exhausted and your legs hurt, it means you have not walked around enough.
Remember, the full post with all the information and all the photos together will come out probably in a couple of days. It will be a long one.
After the long day walking around Valletta, getting to the Hotel and going straight to the Pool and Sauna was the best thing. It felt like heaven.

Love Malta. It’s one of our favourite places, we’ve made good friends there whom we’ve remained in contact with since, zoomed in to chat during Covid and so on. My little niece, Izzie was born there when my brother and his wife lived there for two years. I can remember flying out to wet the babies head, we went out a couple of times in one year.
The streets and entire island is very hilly. Especially the road that leads down to the Grand Harbour. We too loved the swimming pool at the Grand Excelsior hotel.
Good time of year to be there. August is so hot.
I was just bored and depressed in January, so luckily opened the PC and found this return tickets for £30 and found a 4 stars hotel for 4 night for £30 a night! So I had to go! I really loved it. Beautiful. I am Portuguese, so the Mediterranean vibes were very familiar. Want to go back as soon as I can :D
I have to say I love Portugal too and having been to Malta and Madeira more than once each, I love these islands. The sea air in both cases is just a great way to live. I often say to my wife when we retire we should spend a lot of time in those places!!
Do it, do it. Cause unfortunately 😪 if the situation here in the UK keeps going the way it is! :( not good news. I Myself, after 13 years and my whole adult, independent life here. Called here home and I LOVE it. But don't have that feeling anymore
Thats sad to hear but I agree. It’s shit. I’m going to use my vote to eradicate the Tories this morning.
I really love it here as I said, and I've always said this was my forever home. But I am not so sure about it anymore. :(
The country has been governed by the Tories for too long and I hope that today, they’re dealt another blow and that we see more liberal attitudes returning to our land! What do you find to be the most troubling issues here? The whole Rwanda thing is shocking, there is a rising issue with racism, homophobia and transphobia which is not good at all. Then there are the economic issues and the state of our roads and towns. It’s all on a slippery slope.
I was about to say, don't even ask me... and then you went and said all of that and you got me here laughing out loud for real. All of the above it is just surreal. Specially when I moved to the UK because it was a country that was more "evolved" and better than the majority in all of those things and more. Not it feels like it is going back to the medieval times and in the past few years have been taking so many steps backwards. I know the whole world it is a mess right now and in a crisis. But the stuff that have been happening in here, I was not expecting. Stuff that's happening here is stuff we would expect to see from countries like the USA (no shade).
Believe you me, most of us don’t like the way it’s going and with friends from all of those groups of people I mentioned, whom I consider to be highly evolved, intelligent, creative people and shouldn’t be treated the way they are. Then there are the immigrant folk, I’d welcome most of them here with open arms personally but worried some cuntservative (that’s not a misspelling) would make my life difficult for doing so. Democracy has died. There seems to be a mandate to encourage us all to hate each other and rather than spending money on making lives better, let’s spend countless more billions on weapons to blow everyone to high fuckery!
Yes we are becoming more American. We will be allowed guns next!
I am at an age that I am fed up with all this economical and financial systems we leave. I am seriously considering to move to a small country in Asia, small village, where everything is cheaper but I probably will be able to make some nice money online (considering their economies are so much weaker) and so I will be able to actually LIVE and also, because I will have extra money, I can make at least a difference in whatever smaller community I will be leaving.
