The Magic of Street Photography
A lot of times when I get out there for my photography walks and I want to create some Street Photography, I go with some concepts and some ideas in mind. I usually pick the areas or places I want to go and depending on my mood when I leave the house, I usually know what I have in mind and what I am looking for when I get there.
But that is the fun part of Street Photography, because it is not what you want, it is what you find. So a lot of those times. Everything changes and you end up creating something completely different and unexpected.
What happens to me, it that usually I am able to follow that first idea and that lead I had in my mind when I left the house but also, I end up with a selection of photos that are completely individual and do not go with anything else and sometimes they don't even go together with each other. And there is nothing wrong with that.
Let me tell you, that in some cases, those are some of my favourite photos from some of those photography walks.
In these post you can see a bunch of those photos from one of the days I went out, I have visited multiple different places that I wanted to photograph and while moving around to reach all these different places, there were so many opportunities that appeared to create cool photos that I just simply could not ignore.
How are am I supposed to just walk around with the camera and not stop to capture some of these beautiful moments and awesome framings that the World just offers us everywhere we look. Street Photography is an amazing way for us to stop and really appreciate a lot of mundane daily things that people tend to ignore because we live such fast pace life.
These photos were all taken around central London, if you ever visited London you might even look at some of these an recognise the areas where they were taken. I was out for many hours walking endlessly looking for those perfect images and I had a great photography walk. When I do this walks I always feel like I am watching the World from outside, like I am not part of it.
Always look for fun and pretty details, even when walking in huge industrial cities like London. Because there are always areas that you will find that will surprise you. Like this one above. That you might not think that it is in the center of London.
So even in your busy life, try and take the time to appreciate the streets you walk every day. Although they might look always they same, if you look closely, you will see they are completely different every single day.
