Rare moment to relax

If you all know me you know that one of the things that I Love the most is to walk around and discover nice new coffee places to go, have a break, order my coffee and just enjoy it. I also enjoy to share those experiences here with you. And today I have a new place to share.

Sadly, moments like this are super rare now. You be be asking yourself why? Simply because I can't afford it. From the tickets to move around, even just inside London, to order a simple white americano, like I usually do, that can easily be more than £10.

I know it sounds wild, but it is the reality in London right now. And just the thought of this price, make it automatically that I won't be chilled while I am drinking my coffee. I will be stressed because it is an absurd amount of money to pay just to be able to drink a coffee.

So, on days like today, when I have to leave the house for some other reason and after checking my bank account and calculating which bills are still to come. Those are the days that sometimes I can stop to try a new and different coffee shop without stressing too much. And that was the case today.

On my first ever visit to the Neighbourhood Organic, this place in on the high street and I have walked by a couple of times, but it is always very busy and full, so I have never stopped by before. But luckily, today was a little bit more quiet and I have decided to give it a go.

It is a big store with food, very open space with a lot of sitting and also a lot of plugs to charge your device. As you can see above as well, the whole front of the shop are windows bottom to top what makes the space look even bigger and allow a lot of light to come in and also, allow you to see the life going by outside.

Here's my coffee getting prepared. And I know they are not a new place, but probably they have got some bad reviews later, because the person preparing my coffee here was very insistent in trying me and other people to leave reviews on Google, that I will. But I honestly didn't like that she was asking me straight away for a review without even have tried anything. You know what I mean. But still, she was very professional and very nice while doing it.

They also serve food that looks delicious, but in this economy who has £12 to pay for a sandwich, don't get me wrong all the food looked delicious but in this crisis, for sure I can't afford to be eating out, I barely can afford to pay for the coffee, so imagine.

On the many times I have passed by, I noticed that this is a very popular place for people to be on their laptops and getting some work done. I can see why, there's coffee, food, light, music, nice tables and seats. And today was no exception, as you can see in these photos, more than 50% of the people are on their laptops. I would agree that this is a lovely place to work if you can work from whatever you want.

I know you have been waiting to know what I think about the coffee. I always let you know how they did. And surprisingly, it was great. The colour, the smell, the flavour. Everything was on point. I don't know if it was because for some reason my expectations about the coffee there were very low, but I really enjoyed the taste of the coffee here.

Price wise, it was £3.30, I would say that it is the average for a white americano in London nowadays, I still think it is ridiculous, but it is hard to find cheaper places, and not that difficult to find places where it is more expensive.

Overall, if I pass by again and it is in the budge. I would most definitely stop by again to grab another coffee without even thinking twice. Maybe even in a good month, grab the laptop and have something to bite.
