Rising Star Weekly Update -Spent 609k Startbits towards my 2023 goals. A little behind after one month!

I can't believe it's been almost 2 weeks since my last post, but I got super busy last week and almost didn't post at all. Just because I wasn't posting didn't mean I wasn't still grinding away at as many missions as I could fit in and trying to stack as many Star bits as possible. This allowed me to build up a decent chunk of over 600,000 Star bits to spend to increase my fan base. Let's take a look and see what I got for my money and what I plan on doing in the month of February.

Not too much has happened when my overall stats, you can see that I continue to run music missions as often as I can make sense within my day to offset my ever-increasing ego. I currently have about a $30,000 skill over ego buffer, and I hope to continue to grow it as I find myself having higher and higher ego in my missions. I don't think I'll ever have my buffer be too big to where I don't continue to run music lessons as I want to keep growing my fan base and now my ego will grow with it.

Card Buying Binge 609k+ StarBits

I will say that I noticed a significant price increase from the fans that I was able to buy 2 weeks ago. If my memory serves me correctly my fans cost me about 58 star bits per fan 2 weeks ago as were this week they were running me closer to 68 or 69 star bits per fan. Well still relatively cheap on a perfect basis the increase was almost a 20% cost increase and led to me getting fewer fans than I was hoping for. I was able to add just under nine thousand fans to my total bringing my base fans from cards to 119,978. I added about 20,000 for the month of January and I am only slightly behind track to end the year at 300,000 fans.

I was very fortunate again this week when buying cards, when I added my clothes to 9,000 fans, I added almost $8,000 scale leaving me almost no loss in my ego. It's easily overcome by running two to three music lessons to add an additional thousand or more skill. While I was only able to add 69 cards, and it was only five different individual cards, they had some additional benefits in the luck and income modifier fields which may help my rankings.

2023 Goals

• 300,000 Fans
  I'm a little behind my goal of $300,000, but I'm hoping that in all actuality I'm ahead of my goal since my earnings should increase as my fans increase. While not a direct one to one increase, I think that when I hit 200,000 fans, which will be double my original fan base of where I started this year I should be able to earn significantly more star pits, leaving to higher purchases each week.
• 2,500 Skill from Drum Lessons
  I have a goal of adding 12 to 13, 000 to my skill reward potential for drum lessons. Considering I'm already a full month in and I haven't added anything I'm concerned about my ability to do so. At a cost of 65 Star bits per luck it will cost me over 8 million Star bits if my math is correct. I think I currently get about 01 skill per drum luck. If I need to add 1300 drum luck that will require an additional 129, 000 drum lock. At a cost of $65 Star bits per luck that will be 8.3 million. This goal might not happen, but will mostly depend on if it's needed or if I'm able to stay ahead of my ego.
• Ranking
  I believe I plan in February on spending somewhere between 10-50k star fits on unique cards. Hoping to head somewhere in the range of 50 to 60 unique cards. Quite honestly the only reason I haven't done it yet is the significant amount of time it requires for me to update my spreadsheet.

I will say that my current ranking of 171 is not factoring in the current purchases as these were made after my ranking was determined with the day, and since rankings are only determined once a day I did not want to wait for the update before posting.

It has been tempting to go out and buy a few million extra Star bits with some Hive or hbd I have earned and tried to really jump start my goals for the year. At this point I'm just holding on to what I have and I am going to see how the year plays out. I already made a terrible trade on trading hive for HPD when it was at 41 cents expecting a big decline, but now I lost a significant amount of value in doing so. At this point I just moved it over to savings and will sit on it until a later date.

There are a few players I know they keep investing a significant amount of money into the game and are so far ahead in terms of fans and earning potential it's mind-boggling. I hope to be able to catch them someday but it's doubtful

Thoughts and Comments

Does anyone know if there is a ranking for just which accounts have the most fans. I would love to see a leaderboard for fans, or skill, or other game attributes besides the rankings for rewards.
