Monday Special- Flavored Tomato Khatta

Friends, Happy Monday everyone.

Today was a good day and the day started well. Because today's environment is as beautiful as yesterday. Since today is a beautiful day, I am hoping to get a chance to enjoy today as well. And try to enjoy the beautiful days beautifully, it keeps the heart more active.

Today I will share a favorite recipe with you, because a few days ago I enjoyed this recipe with my whole family. But I made it a little differently from our traditional tradition. Means I have prepared the recipe exceptionally, I have not followed the way this recipe is prepared all the time. Its taste was slightly different. So it's not old content, it's a new recipe done differently.

It is now winter in our region, and the winter season is full of great vegetables, tomatoes being one of them. So today I have prepared a great tasting recipe with tomatoes, it is as nutritious as it is tasty.

I tried to do it a little differently by sauteing garlic and onion, then mixing it up. In fact, I always try to give importance to the appeal of my mind when making recipes. You can call it tomato soup, or tomato juice or our local name khatta. Hope you like today's recipe made differently.

What I used in the recipe-

  • 500 grams of tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 4 green chillies
  • 10 grams coriander leaves
  • 1 garlic
  • 2 grams cumin
    -1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 teaspoons of oil.

Preparatory phase-

First I cut the tomatoes into small slices, then put a pan on the stove and put enough water in it and put the tomatoes in it, along with cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Then I cover them with a lid so that it boils quickly. After boiling, I took them off the stove.

Then I took a strainer and strained the boiled tomatoes and collected the juices.

After that, I again heated some oil in the pan, then lightly fried it with dry chillies, cumin, garlic and onion.

Then I added the boiled tomato juices to it and cooked it for some time with raw chilies.

Then I chopped the coriander leaves, cooked it like this for some more time, then took it down after checking the taste.

Our traditional winter day special recipe Tomato Khatta is ready. It is really a very tasty recipe and that's why it is very popular in our region.

We try to enjoy this recipe as long as the tomatoes are in the market during the winter season. Hope you like it too.
