Delightful Weekend Family Treat at SM Consolacion

In today's blog, I want to share with you our delightful weekend experiences with my family at SM Consolacion, Cebu.

Living in the countryside, it's not that usual that we can afford to go and travel to Cebu City with the whole family. Not because there isn't any mode of transportation but with the distance of traveling and traffic congestions it makes us dizzy and tired. Another thing, the bus fare is too high if all of us will go to the city. It's just a rare occasion that we will come and visit the place.

Last weekend, my brother invited us to a town fiesta at their place. It's an opportunity that knocks once in a blue moon that all the family members will be traveling.

To make our time worthwhile, we planned to visit SM Consolacion for it's just a walking distance to where my brother lives. The kids will surely love the experience and fun at the World of Fun, Kidzoona, and other kiddy activities.

One thing that the kids will surely do if going to a place, would be the rides and other kids' things. So we let my nieces and nephew try the rides for it's only seldom they can visit the City.

First thing, we go to Kidzoona where children can roam around everywhere in all the playing areas. One child must be guarded by one parent to make sure the safety of the child. Kids and parents must also wear socks for safety purposes. For a one-hour kids' activity inside, we had to pay Php250. 00 or 4.53 USD.

It was all worth it. The kids were enjoying playing with the balls, the spider web, and the slides. The kids were sweating in playing with all the toys inside the area. Seeing the happy smiles on their faces will surely leap your heart for joy. After an hour of playing it's time to go out of the area for there are a lot of kids and parents waiting outside for their turns.

It was just so easy to locate and access Kidzoona for it's just on their first floor. I suggest parents should bring extra clothes or shirts so that kids could change clothes because for sure they will enjoy the place so much that it will give them too much sweat.

Going up on the second floor of SM Consolacion, you can also see the "World of Fun" where you can also see a lot of kiddies and teen activity. You have to pay tokens at the token counter before starting to ride or play any games inside.

We also let my nieces and nephew try some of the rides. Horseback riding is one of the most rides they wanted to try. We had to put 2 five-peso worth of tokens inside so that it will start to turn around. Enjoying this little thing with them is never too much for they seldom experience this activity.

Afterward, we are all hungry waiting for the kids. We try some of their finger foods at the food court. We bought boxes of Moshi Manju bread, slices of Santino's Pizza, and Zagu drinks.

It was a fun-filled weekend experience with my family roaming around the place.

Right after eating, we look for a sandal for one of my nieces for her Pre-School graduation next week.

Indeed, traveling with family is super gratifying. we get to let our parents happy and enjoy watching their grandchildren and have fun too.
