one of the tricks of inflation is that when the economy is doing well, you don’t see it. It doesn’t impact goods as much as it does assets like housing, and so we say the economy is booming when the stock market is doing well, when really fundamentally, the currency is still being debased, even when the economy is doing well.
Then things go south and the inflation starts to hit daily goods and people notice it.

wow bro, this actually means that inflation is constantly taking effect, the difference is we only notice when it affects goods and all other things become more expensive.

yes, I am not someone who has studied the economy in depth but I watch the news and learn things I don’t understand and noticed this after a few years in the market. Then I heard Jeff Booth who says the same thing. I am not a bitcoin maxi like him but I agree with him on most other things. Still not sure if regular people will benefit if they can’t afford to hold bitcoin but it’s an interesting theory if you look at it in depth.
very interesting concept indeed. One of the things I love and appreciate about Bitcoin and altcoins is not even the profit. It's the liberation and freedom from society, banks and government
I don't know what level of freedom we can achieve but i feel that bitcoin is really good for that conversation. And as for crypto in general, the idea of giving opportunities and rewarding people for good behavior and sharing important ideas is exciting for me! Especially those who have been left out (global south) or people who do things which are not always easy to decide a monetary value for (artists, community leaders)
This is good way of value being rewarded, I love the system established on Leo and all the updates they're working on. That's why I want to be premium soon so I can see how it feels
