Does anyone know why YouTube shorts views always have a big boost that gradually descends for 3-4 hours? It seems to happen every time. Regardless of viewer habits. Sometimes huge boosts, sometimes tiny.

I just learned that if people search for you it gives you a big boost in the algorithm...if you don't mind could you search for my latest short? "untangled knots let go of results"

Thank you!! I’m gonna be focused on shorts for the next 2-3 months and slowly get back into long form, with slightly leveled up editing

It definitely does but depending on the content, they may not interact with long form. I think this style of short is good for my style of long form. Thanks to AI for adding subs, it saves a lot of time

I just watched this whole video

  1. Like a commentor said, that sudden goat appears had be laughing, nice touch
  2. Which country did you visit for the video, it looks like an Asian country (correct me if I'm wrong)
  3. Loved the voice in the background, but I feel the sound of the instrument overshadowed the vocals. Maybe it's because I wasn't using my heard set and where I'm standing is a bit noisy, so I'd use my headset when I get home.
  4. Did you record with a mic?

It was a nice video by the way...

3 cities Xiamen, Hong Kong and Tokyo. I moved back to Tokyo in 2018 after 6 years away so I tried the end of my touring and drifting days and coming back into “society”, except not really hahaha I’m still on the fringe of society.

I used a mic but I’m not great with mixing. This song was originally instrumental but I added a chorus with vocals.

I did everything myself! My 2 drummers in the video are not in Japan so al instrument, singing, mixing, editing was me. Ah some material was filmed by my gf.
