The Charm of Wildflowers, Tapak Sewu! II Phone Photography Contest #40
Hello, guys!
Hope all is well!
Today, I want to share about a flower that is often called Bunga Tapak Sewu by the people around my place of residence. The name does sound unique, although I myself do not know the reason behind its naming. In the scientific world, this flower is known as Catharanthus roseus or more popularly known as periwinkle in many places.
When morning approached noon, I found this flower growing beautifully among the grass on the side of the road that I rarely pass. The color is stunning, a combination of pink with a touch of purple that is even more charming under the hot sun. The view creates a beautiful contrast, making me unable to resist capturing it with my cellphone camera.
What is special is that this flower does not require special attention to look charming. As I found today, this flower grows wild on the side of the road, proving that beauty can be present in unexpected places.
Thank you for taking the time to enjoy the beauty of nature, namely Bunga Tapak Sewu, one of God's beautiful creations.
