As the title suggests, the sunlight acts as a warming medium for the harbor, which in turn produces a feeling that makes it seem lively yet peaceful, something serene that can only be found in a few other places. With the help of my smartphone, I managed to capture the captivating scene. The entire scene looks like a large light blue canvas that is then interspersed with a few white clouds that float leisurely as the wind moves across the sky. The warm sun that gently embraces the sea breeze, thus creating a calming and healing atmosphere, is the natural scene where I am.

There is a large cargo ship moving quite slowly in the distance that gives extra appeal to the scene. The ship is depicted in blue and red colors that contrast with the more natural colors of the surrounding area. The sea, calm inside, reflects the image of the ship giving the photos a more interactive aspect. Every aspect of the ship, from the chimney to the back of the deck, is very clearly visible as it is illuminated by the bright sunlight that expresses strength and serenity as a whole.

The man-made structures in this harbor are sturdy and bring a human touch amidst the beauty of nature. The red lighthouse is the main focal point, standing at the bottom of the harbor in an inviting manner. The lighthouse is considered a sentinel, flanked by every ship that comes and goes in its full glory as if smiling down upon them. The lighthouse, surrounded by the busy yet orderly docks, is a captivating sight. While the hustle and bustle of the harbor activity is taking place, it represents peace and tranquility.

The sunlight makes the water peaceful, which is generally a picture of a simple aesthetic statement, making the scene even more beautiful. A glimpse of sunlight on the surface creates ripples of light that slowly move along with the very low waves. The reflectivity of the ship, the lighthouse, and the concrete docks gives the impression as if you are witnessing a perfect painting on the water; the fusion of reality and visual trickery works perfectly.

Every aspect of this moment moves the ship, the lighthouse, and the blue sky into a beautiful, proportionate yet pleasing reflection of the water at the same time. During my visit, I captured some of this beauty through my smartphone, to make it a memory of the bright and peaceful morning I enjoyed at Krueng Geukueh Harbor in Aceh, Indonesia.
