Afternoon with Wild Flowers

This afternoon, in the midst of my leisurely jogging routine, I met two tiny inhabitants that caught my attention. Wedelia, with its bright yellow petals, seemed to welcome my slow steps. Among the green leaves, the flower looked contrasting, radiating simple joy.

Not far from there, Lantana appeared with a bolder color. The combination of red, yellow, and orange blended like a living canvas of nature. I stopped for a moment, took my phone from my pocket, and captured the moment, two tiny flowers that symbolized the simplicity of this afternoon.

Walking again, the afternoon wind caressed my face. There was warmth from the fading sunlight, as if the dusk was saying goodbye. However, in that simplicity, there was a small unexpected happiness.

The flowers, the camera lens, and the slow steps, this afternoon felt perfect. Nature always has a way to slip small happiness into the midst of our daily routines.
