Afternoon Portrait at a Small Stall

This afternoon, after getting tired from running, I stopped at a small stall on the side of the road. My goal was simple: to buy a bottle of mineral water. However, there was something else that caught my attention.

In one corner of the stall, I saw a black cat sleeping soundly on a plastic chair. On the floor, not far from there, there was another cat also sleeping. The atmosphere was so peaceful, as if their world was separate from the hustle and bustle around them.

Without thinking, I took my smartphone out of my pocket and took a picture of the moment. Not because of its striking beauty, but its simplicity that moved me.

This moment might have been missed by others, but for me, there was a warm calm amidst the busyness of the day. That afternoon not only provided fresh air, but also a small piece of the story about two cats sleeping together in the corner of the stall.
