LIL: Entry To The LMAC Image Library #56
Hello, everyone! 📷 😎
It's been a week since my last post in the LMAC.gallery.
Today I have some transparent images, ie. without background, and slihtly modified (colors, dimension, shape, form, etc). These are various labels, stickers, patches, graffities, I catch them when hanging around and think that might be useful for collages. But, it depends on you if you'll use them or not.
Before I continue, I may answer the following question: What exactly is LMAC Image Library or LIL?
It's the largest Hive's public domain image index, with more than 14.200 photos and graphics. A project is initiated by the Let's Make A Collage community (kudos to @shaka and @quantumg). Hive users can post and share their images there.
Anyone on Hive can contribute to the library, and everyone can use the images from the library. You can carefully read the "How To" instructions and detailed usage rules here.
The primary purpose is to use them in collages for the Let's Make A Collage community contests, but you can also use them in other Hive posts and projects. The dimensions of the images are various, but mainly between 2000 and 1000 pixels, and they are saved in WebP format.
Why WebP? Besides being a much smaller file than a 24-bit PNG or JPEG, it has other good features. To learn more, read here Are You Using WebP
As LIL requires, these images are licensed under a Public Domain. You can use them anywhere and for anything, especially in your collages and Hive posts.
It may be time to post some photos and be rewarded for publishing your pictures and using others.
