Svojat - Tri disgracije
Svojat is a Slovenian trio from Ljubljana. They are experienced musicians, playing together since 2020, paving their way in the Slovenian avantgarde, experimental and improvisational music underground.
They presented their new album, their second in a row, "Ošili me modro" (In English Stitched Me Blue), which was released at the end of May.
This video is part of a performance at the rock club MKNŽ, Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia, 7.6.2024.

I use to like more the soft rock but they have a very interesting sound! Thanks for sharing with us.
The sound quality here is not the best, but it's some fusion anyway :)
It's always better heard a live song so we can see the performance without audiotunes and "magic" ;)

I don't think so. I recorded a bass player with another band 10-15 years ago, but I don't post that here.
Questions remain unanswered here. If the sound in the MKNŽ was a bit better, I could enjoy the musical work of the guys from the capital even more. They are far above average.
Because I don't quite understand the lyrics, here comes the question:
Three disaggregations - is it economic, business and political or are they entirely limited to current politics? 😮🤔
I think the sound in MKNŽ is the same as before; I use better mastering tools. Well, I still can't get the vocals proper. I should record the sound separately on the isolated channel. But that's not possible on the phone, unfortunately. I'm waiting for some AI solution for that, but it must be free :)
As for the gang and the text, I think it's precisely what you say, that it's not just politics, it's also ecology, because the text is about visitors from the future complaining about what a shambles we've left behind. And it's not "pi*kin dim" in the chorus; it's "miškin dim" :)
By the way, I know a bass guitarist who used to play in a band called Žoambo Žoet Workestrao, a fusion like this one.
Svojim ušesom sem namenil nekaj taktov skladbe "Žoambo Žoet Workestrao". Skoraj bi ga lahko zamenjali s skladbo "Haustor". Vseeno mi je všeč.
