Hail to the Hive!

Tonight we were invited for drinks across the road at the neighbors house, old friends of my @millycf1976 dad. It was a superb evening. As it was on their roof top entertainment area I had the opportunity tomget some fresh perspeshots, so I took the drone.

There are many power lines and obstacles over the street so you really need eyes on the drone as the camera can’t tell you what you need to know from a danger perspective.

Apart from the beers, food and great hospitality I was also so stoked to get some of the street shots I’ve wanted to get for a few weeks now. Launching the drone from the other side of the street with a clear view of where the power lines were was gold. So happy to get this perspective.

What made me grin even wider was the response from the hosts as they saw the footage and their home from a completely different perspective and thenshits of their street too.

Pretty cool to share it with them as they’ve never imagined their home and street from this perspective. All that and they fed me beer all evening. Good job I was flying before drinking eh!
