Back a Yard! Back to Jamaica
Hail to the Hive!
It’s been 20 months since we returned to the UK from the Philippines and nearly 9 years since we left Jamaica to go to the Philipines in the first place so now we have come full circle as it’s time to return to 🇯🇲 Jamaica 🇯🇲
So it was an early start, an a grey and rainy morning, to catch the bus to Heathrow Airport from Newton Abbot and @diveratt dropped us off at the bus with our bags.
I’ve missed that excited feeling you get as you are setting off on your travels to far away places. I almost didn’t believe it would happen again.
It was a fairly dull 4 hour journey with grey skies and rain but as we approached the airport and I glimpsed the sight of aircraft taking off I began to smile and get that wonderful feeling of excitement mixed with uncertainty as to what lay ahead.
Once all the annoying check in stuff was sorted it was time to relax as we were now in the flow of what would be. Time to grab a few things I knew we would miss while away….
Like pints of delicious IPA
And full English breakfasts mmmmmm
And before long it was boarding time.
We were flying via Toronto so it was only the first leg of the journey. I figure free gin and tonics and a few movies should lass the time perfectly 😉.
The long layover in Toronto did gift us this beautiful airport sunrise though, which was lovely.
And then time to board again for the short 4 hour trip to the sunshine!
Back to Jamaica 🇯🇲
Back to my wifes ( @millycf1976 ) family home
And back to nice cold Red Stripe Beer! 🍺 🍺 🍻
Time to chillax…..
Thanks guys! Much appreciated 😄
Yay! 🤗
