Best and Worst Travel Stories: Discovering India’s Joys and Challenges
Traveling is often a process that requires many things to be followed, and many factors are involved in making it something that we often remember positively. However, there could have been a negative aspect as well, which can be related to it, making it something that we cannot forget and also something that we can learn from in our future expeditions.
All in all, traveling has always been one of the best things that people can do and a lot of people love it just because of the thrill of it as well as the shear amount of enjoyment that they can do while involved in a traveling experience and there can be a lot of options to be chosen from to be picking the destination as well as the way to travel and a lot of other factors that are there to be customized as per the things we want it to be.
I personally also enjoy a lot of traveling and in my entire life I have traveled a lot I feel fortunate to have been born in India because in this country you can find a lot of diversity in a single place and that will be having a lot of options to be chosen from because it has a lot of cultural richness to offer along with vibrant cities and even the breath taking landscape in the north along with the amazing oceans in the south as well.
I have had the privilege to be traveling a lot of places in India and have a lot of great experiences that I can share with you all as one as a lot of interesting stories which has happened to me and a few forgetful incidents as well and I'm sure that anyone who travels does often goes through a mixed back of experience is and that is what traveling is all about it is always not going to be as more than we wanted to be and also it won't be rough that a lot of people feel it to be as it is very hectic a lot of people term it as.
Well if you ask me about the best traveling journey experience at Ever Had then it has to be the Darjeeling trip that I had in 2022 it was a great experience to be a part of because I always loved his quite a lot and the mountains have always been one of my favofavoriteause of which I instantly said yes when the plan was in the planning stages and I just went through with it and I was very fortunate enough to be a part of the trip.
Darjeeling is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India it is also called the Queen of the Hills as well popularly known as it and it is one of the most loved destinations for a lot of people in the North Eastern part of the country it was also one of the destinations that I have never been to before which was also a factor that initiated me to travel over there as well.
I went therefore for about a week and it was nice to a because I had the opportunity to travel to all of the famous places that were available to visit and all in all the weather as well as the food that was available there and the search Beauty that Darjeeling had to offer made it an unforgettable experience that was a great one to have and the amazing Sunrise from Tiger Hill was mesmerizing where the mountain peaks for visible when it was Shining In The Bright sunlight in the morning.
The people over there are nice as well because it is a very great experience to be interacting with the local people anywhere we go and that particular factor was completely taken of in a very beautiful manner by the local people as they are very well coming towards tourist and often make you visit a lot of such places that you might not find on the internet and a lot of other places and that was one of the spots that you went to namely Lepcha Jagat.
All in all, it will de you one of my favorite trips or sure that I had I also have a recency bias for that particular but surely it was r great one that will remember for a wrong amount of time in my life ahead and compared to have an even better trip.
Now if I talk about one of the experiences that I would not have enjoyed that much or it played a role in making sure that the experience we had on that particular trip a bit could have been even better without the existence of that particular incident in the particular trip then it will surely be my Jaipur trip back in 2016.
Jaipur is one of the best city is to be traveling in India as it has a lot to offer right from the amazing culture of Rajasthan as well as the amazing interest structure of the ancient times by the Emperors who used to rule the city in the past and the infrastructure that they have built it still a great Testament to art and creation.
This trip was also for about three or four days I exactly don't remember how many days went there but it happened in our car and we traveled there from the capital we used to stay in New Dethentime and it was about 250 km away from Delhi and I also love Road trips quite a lot and I used to prefer them over everything else when I was a kid and it was a great experience until a point when our car broke down.
River driving on National Highway 8 or NH 8 as it is known for short had to be one of the loneliest places in that particular stretch towards Jaipur when the clutch plate got overheated and started to smell a bit inside the car itself which is when we all panic then stop the car on the side of the road and open the Hood only to notice a bit of smokey flame that we coming out from the bottom of the engine.
After a bit of waiting and letting the car cool down, we Resume the journey but there was something wrong with the car itself as it was not functioning properly and was also not responding to the accelerator that properly and we just managed to reach a mechanic shop where he could identify the actual issue and we were left on our own to travel with this car when there was about another 30 or 40 km away from Jaipur itself from my dad decided that we are going to just take this car itself to Jaipur as we already had no option.
So, fortunately, we reached Jaipur and we traveled the entire day with the correct self in different places inside the cand it was a memorable experience but at night when we had to travel to a particular hotel to stay for the night the car completely gave up and just by sheer luck we reached the hotel and there was the car completely dead because it was completely irresponsive of the acceleration and everything and it was kind of midnight itself when we also had no option to go to an official mechanic shop such as the showroom of the car company itself show me decided to stay for the night and go to the showroom the next day.
The entire next day was spent at the showroom when we were meant to be exploring the city even more and just before evening we got back our car when we submitted it in the morning itself which was a tiring experience and our day was completely ruined because of the entire incident. After that none of us had a really good mood to continue our journey so we just restored for the day and started our journey again the next day because of all of this we lost the day and also a bit of mood as well.
All in all, traveling will be coming up with a lot of incidents that we may face within our journey and that is something that we always need to be aware of and have a plan for because always things might go sideways and we should be prepared for it and not hesitate to think that we have to be going of our plan which we initially thought we are going to be following. This is something that you always need to keep in mind while we are traveling because it can throw up experiences that we might not have expected when we were planning for the trip itself.
