Why do we complain so much?

Today, I was ranting about something and after a few seconds, I thought to myself why I was complaining so much? I mean, when I look around, I can see people around me who do not even have a proper means to live, leave alone the comforts that the rest of us enjoy.

Take, for example, the country Nigeria. The citizens of Nigeria have been undergoing terrible hardships all the while and to add more misery, the lack of cash because of the recent changes to their currency has made it next to impossible to live a normal life. I really hope the situation improves. When I read the chat between the members of the Neoxian family, it is hard not to think about how different their lives would have been if they had lived in some other country. It is not as if we are better off than the western countries but at least they would not be in such a bad condition.

I remember watching a movie about Bushmen once when I was younger and how the man dug out a tuber and extracted a drop of water. He also kept a leaf so as to collect a dew drop and drink it. Imagine having to work hard for a drop of water and here I am wasting water sometimes. We often take things for granted and forget how hard others have to work for them.
Too much water is also a bad thing because I can still remember the trauma caused by the floods. It's like we are sitting on a huge water tank and anything can happen. Freaking 37 dams. Imagine.

So, those of you who do not have enough water, please do not fret so much.

Happiness is something that cannot be bought. It has to come from inside. A feeling that develops when we are satisfied with some result or happenings or just seeing something we love or like. Happiness is like forgetting all our worries and enjoying the moment. That is why they say that happiness is the food of the gods. So, when you are happy, the chances are that you will be blessed more and will emit a vibration that can cleanse others too around you.

You might have heard about Indian weddings. It is said that all the gods will be present during wedding ceremonies. The happiness of all the people who are gathered there will invite them over and if you pray during that time, it could be answered. So, keep this in mind the next time you attend a wedding and it need not be an Indian wedding either.

A person who smiles with all the warmth is more than welcome than others who try to always fight and cause fights or are jealous and angry and hate others.

Try to be soft and polite. Try to be happier. If you cannot be happy for others, at least refrain from causing mischief. if twenty people find fault with you, then it can be easily said that it is you who is the problem. I agree that one person cannot change the world overnight. Corrupt people will always be corrupt and it is hard to reform people all at once. If they do not change for the better, it does not mean that they should be removed.

Nobody is perfect. So, we should give chances to others before trying to reform and even then, there is the question - who gave us the power to hurt others?
