Values that should never be compromised

Have you wondered about the past when you study the wars that occurred in the previous centuries and the one that is still raging?

Do you feel that those wars could have been avoided?

Agreed that the wars between small kingdoms and the ones made by nomadic conquerors could not have been stopped because humans were then more nomadic style and used their power to take lands, control the people and gain more wealth. Thus were born kingdoms and geographical boundaries. It would be interesting to study the past and there are many books meant for the common man.

Coming to what I am intending to write down today, I feel that values should never be compromised, and no matter what the gain, one should never use circumstances to hurt others or loot others. A wrong deed may often go unnoticed but actions do have consequences and one day or another, it will reflect. Now commonly recognized as KARMA.

Tech advancements have helped man progress a lot but in spite of all this, people are still thirsty for waging war, disputing each other and letting their ego take control. When the ego takes control of the mind and the heart, the person will lose the way and work according to the whims and fancies of the mind. The clarity of thought will be reduced which will then affect the performance and finally, the downfall of the person will start.

Always be careful not to let the ego take control. Always be careful of what you think, speak and act. When you take back control of the mind and you are the master, then you will be successful in whatever you do.

Life is simple but we make it complicated. So, try to live a simple life and maintain integrity. When selfishness enters your world, it is like you are riding a chariot with four horses that each try to go in different directions which will result in failure. Whatever goal one has, it has to be worked towards with unity in thought, word, and deed.

Let us hope that the war ends and that humanity works together to rescue the remaining land and water being that are nearing extinction. Let us stop polluting the environment and start to reuse and recycle. It is not good to just use and throw. Let us change and make sure others follow our example and transform this planet into a beautiful heaven.

If only celebrities tried to raise awareness by dressing sensibly, eating good foods, and avoiding stuff that harms other beings, it would inspire young people and their fans and even if they did nothing, let us each do our bit and try to live with a basic common sense and save this planet of ours.

It is time, we devoted life to improving our own selves rather than spending it on obeying others who want nothing but selfish interests or personal gains. It is time, we moved away from reading gossip columns and instead worked on the land.

Let us all hope for a bright future for our children.
