Sissy’s Bday @ Raul’s

I can't believe that September is about to end, but before I bid farewell to September let me just post this simple birthday celebration of my sister Eve last Tuesday at Raul's. It was a simple family gathering with my sister's closest friend and her special someone. Raul's is a filipino restaurant that was used to be Yayo's Grill that was famous for it's food and place. The place was used to be a favourite hangout of my colleagues as well since there was used to be a billiard hall and a dart board. Now it was focused on being a restaurant with a band.

So, my sister ordered the famous Crispy Pata, buttered shrimp, buttered chicken, pancit, Pork Sinigang & the famous grilled panga (fish tuna head). In fairness, everything tasted really good especially the crispy pata and tuna panga. Aside from enjoying the food we also enjoyed the band that night that my sisters even jammed with the band. It was a simple but a fun celebration with the family. I guess my sister was really that night. We sang a happy birthday song and she gets to blew her cakes and made a wish.

Overall, the restaurant is great for family gatherings especially if you love Filipino food.
