Wednesday Walk - I started my running chapter from today
As I was walking and doing some mobility exercises at home to get restart running. I am not running for many years and thought to start it again. So today I decided to run 5 km ( approx. 3.11 miles).
Recorded on Garmin Watch
After a little stretching, I started slow and, was aware it would be slow throughout the run, as it was my first day after a long time. Once I started my run my heart rate was going up, and I walked when it was high to keep it in the same rhythm.
It is not easy to click photos while running, so I clicked these photos when I walked. Also, it is a rainy season so need to be extra careful.
One thing I really like about rain is that everything looks so clean, all the leaves, flowers, and roads look clean compared to other seasons.
I like to run on the road or trail which has a green field on both sides, it gives freshness and energy to keep going. As I shared many times I have a 2 and a half km road here to run or walk. So Whenever I want a 5 km walk I use this road.
polythene I carried from home to keep my phone safe from the rain, however, I used it to keep mangoes in it as the rain stopped. I only picked 4 mangoes for my neighbors as they asked me to bring some for them.
Near the temple, there is a small park, and when I reached there I saw two deer running up to the mountain, as might they saw me or heard my footsteps, it was so quick. I see most of the time them here and come here to have water.
It was humid due to the weather, but my overall run went well, as per the plan this is what I decided and did. I will continue my run at this pace and will not increase the km for a week.
Thank You for stopping by!
Very beautiful natural scenery, and running here is very enjoyable.
