MCGI Mass Indoctrination Day 6. 25th April, 2022.
-- Hello glorious ones! Trust you're having a great week.
We've been undergoing a series of teachings with the Ezteemed Bro Eli of which I'll be sharing with you on some of them and as you read through, be blessed and inspired.
The Church is the House of God.
but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
The house of God is the Church. It's not an ordinary house built by men. It is where God dwells by His Spirit.
The moment someone receives Jesus Christ into his heart, his body is prepared as God's temple and then he receives the Holy Spirit to come live inside him. He now houses God. He becomes God's mobile headquarters, His operational centre.
- This was God's dream from the beginning, for man to be "one with Him" and thank God, He's made it possible in Christ.
How gracious and kind He is! He is big enough to inhabit eternity yet chose to take up His abode in us through the Holy Spirit.
The House of God is a house of Prayer
Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
- The house of God is a house of prayer.
The Church of Jesus Christ is a praying Church
Through prayer, we exercise our authority in Christ. We take our stand against the forces of darkness because we are the restraining force of evil in our world.
Evil thrives when good men keep quiet but when the Church of Jesus Christ prays as the Scriptures teach, we tame evil and totally cripple it's hold on our world.
There's Order in the House of God
Let all things be done decently and in order.
- The house of God is orderly. The Holy Spirit is the Boss of the Church and so, He's the one that directs the affairs of the Church. He's the One that appoints Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists. He anoints God's people for the work of Ministry.
You are the house of God and so, a carrier of God's presence everywhere you go. Therefore, there's no room for disadvantage in your life. You always win.
