I am very sorry to all of you for the absence all this time. I have really had a lot of problems with my internet connection.
I have been seeing all your beautiful work with what little connection I could get. I also wanted to thank you for all your messages, I really appreciate them.
This time I want to bring you a project that I have been working on for several days.
In this project I could see the great improvement that I could get with respect to the finishes of the houses and scenery in general.
I have been applying several techniques in brushes and general painting.
I hope you like it and enjoy this process.

Queridos amigos de Hive. Estoy muy feliz de poder estar de vuelta por acá.Estoy muy apenada con todos ustedes por la ausencia todo este tiempo. Realmente he tenido muchos inconvenientes de conexión con mi internet.

He estado viendo todos sus hermosos trabajos con lo poco que podía tener de conexión. También les quería dar las gracias por todos sus mensajes, los precio mucho.

En esta ocasión les quiero traer un proyecto en el que he estado trabajando varios días.

En este proyecto pude observar la gran mejoría que pude obtener con respecto a los acabados de las casas y escenarios en general.
He estado aplicando varias técnicas en pinceles y en pintado general.
Espero les pueda gustar y puedan disfrutar de este proceso.

To start with the project, I wanted to emphasize that this illustration was an inspiration and a recreation of a photograph of a beautiful city that I found on the internet. I will be leaving you the picture and the link so you can go and recreate it too, I would be very excited to see your projects with your own style.

Para comenzar con el proyecto, les quería recalcar que esta ilustración fue una inspiración y una recreación de una fotografía de una hermosa ciudad que encontré por internet. Les estaré dejando la fotografía y el enlace para que vayan y también puedan recrearla, estaría muy emocionada de ver sus proyectos con el estilo propio de cada uno de ustedes.

At the beginning when I started sketching, I didn't even know where to start. I really found this photograph of this town so beautiful and interesting... the houses and the design in general, were things that I didn't know if I could really recreate in the best way.
When I started to draw it I didn't know if I should continue but, inside me I knew that I had to do it... so much to improve and advance.
I started with the Lapiz 6B for the outlining, both for the sketch and for the final finish.

Al principio cuando empecé a realizar el boceto, no sabía ni por donde empezar. Realmente esta fotografía de este pueblo me parecía tan hermosa e interesante… las casas y el diseño en general, eran cosas que no sabía si realmente podía recrear de la mejor manera.

Cuando empecé a dibujarlo no sabía si seguir pero, dentro de mi sabía que debía de hacerlo… tanto para mejorar y avanzar.

Empecé con el Lapiz 6B para el delineado, tanto del boceto con para el acabado final.

Once I had the houses well defined, I started with the painting.
I started to apply the flat colors. Warm colors but with a cold touch.
I wanted greenish tones but at the same time warm. Something a little complicated to understand and strange, but in the end it worked very well.
I applied the flat base colors with the area selection tool and a flat fill.

Al tener las casas bien definidas, empecé con el pintado.
Comencé a aplicar los colores planos. Colores cálidos pero con un toque frío.

Quería tonos verdosos pero a la vez cálidos. Algo un poco complicado de entender y raro, pero que a la final funciono muy bien.

Los colores base planos los aplique con la herramienta de selección de area y con un relleno plano.

Now comes the most important part for me, the details.
For the details and textures I will be implementing the Watercolor Brush 1 and the Crayon Brush.
First I will be applying a big layer with the watercolor texture, then a layer of crayon and I will start with the details of the houses...
Shingles and bricks, houses with old and opaque paint...These are the things I like the most when coloring houses.
For the shingles I used the same technique with the brushes, what changes the most is the shading and the right texture.

Ahora viene la parte más importante para mi, los detalles.
Para los detalles y texturas estaré implementando el Pincel de Acuarela 1 y el de crayón

Primero estaré aplicando una capa bien grande con la textura de acuarela, luego una de crayón y empezaré con los detalles de las casas..
Tejas y ladrillos, casas con pintura vieja y opaca…Son las cosas que más me gustan a la hora de colorear casas.

Para las tejas utilice la misma técnica con los pinceles,lo que más cambia es la sombra y la textura correcta.

After placing the base textures and start with the details... until the end everything will be, touching up color, textures, and details.
Details like bricks are also one of the things I enjoy doing the most.
The windows. Old windows along with rusty walls, where the paint is no longer part of it, and that over time is going away more and more, where the wind is the one who carries those sad pieces of emptiness and nobody knows where they will end up.
I love the old details. Old towns, old houses and old things...

Después de colocar las texturas bases y empezar con los detalles… hasta el final todo será, retoques de color, texturas, y detalles.
Detalles como los ladrillos también son una de las cosas que más disfruto hacer.

Las ventanas. Ventanas viejas junto con unas paredes oxidadas, en donde la pintura ya no es parte de ella, y que con el tiempo se va yendo cada vez más, en donde el viento es quien se lleva aquellos pedazos tristes de vacíos y que nadie sabe a donde pararan.

Amo los detalles viejos. Viejos pueblos viejas casas y viejas cosas..

After having done almost all the details, I will start with the illuminations that I like so much.
For them I will use a medium warm yellow tone. I will be applying it with an Extra Soft Blending brush and I will be setting the layer mode to overlay.

Después de haber realizado casi todos los detalles, empezaré con las iluminaciones que tanto me gustan.

Para ellas utilizaré un tono amarillo medio cálido. Lo estaré aplicando con un pincel de Fusión extra suave y estaré poniendo el modo de capa en superposición.

Finally, I will be finishing with some details to give more life to that town.
Details like house signs and street lights.

Ya por último estaré finalizando con algunos detalles para darle más viveza a aquel pueblo.

Detalles como letreros de las casas y luces en las calles.
